Lauren: Ugh baby, I don't feel so good, my throat burns and I feel sick to my stomach. I don't want to feel like this anymore. All I wanted to do was smoke a green tea cigarette in peace, that's all I wanted to do baby, I've been feeling great since I gave up nicotine and have really been enjoying the herbal cigarettes but Dani went ahead and sabotaged me. All I wanted was to have a moment to myself and calm down and now I feel like crap and honestly rather just cry for the rest of the day I say bawling my eyes out.
Lexi: Aw babe, I don't like seeing you sad. I'm so proud of everything you've accomplished lately, you are going to get through this, I know you just wanted to smoke and I'm glad you've found a healthier alternative. I'm so sorry she deprived you of clearing your mind and calming down.
Lauren: Baby, can I have some cuddles?
Lexi: Of course babe! Christina, since Lauren isn't feeling good maybe we should postpone rehearsal, I hate seeing her this sick.
Christina: Absolutely!
Lauren: Lise, can you get me some Tylenol and perhaps a herbal cigarette for later on, I have a bad headache and need Tylenol.
Lisa: Sure thing ladybug, here you go!
Lauren: Baby I'm scared I say feeling tears dropping down my cheeks
Lexi: Oh no, why babe, you look like you could use a kiss right about now. I lean in kissing Lauren
Lauren: Awww baby, you always know how to make me feel better, I'm just afraid Dani is out to kill me, the whole entire time while rehearsal was going on I felt nervous with her being there with us.
Lexi: Don't worry babe, I will not let anybody and I mean anybody including Dani lay a hand on you. Your safe with me my love

* THE NEXT DAY *

Lauren: Ough, Ough
Lexi: Babe are you okay? That doesn't sound like a normal cough, I'm worried about you. Let's bring you to the doctor.
Lauren: Okay I say nervously
Christina: Ok Laur we are here, Lexi and Katherine hop out on my side, Laur hop out through the other side.
Nurse practitioner: Lauren Cimorelli?
Christina: Lauren's right here, come on guys
Lauren: Babe I'm scared, Chris and Kath will y'all hold my hand in the room?
Christina: Of course we will!
Nurse practitioner: What seems to be wrong with Lauren today?
Christina: She's had a dry cough and it's unlike her to cough like that, we did our rehearsal like always yesterday, she sounded fine but now she doesn't sound too good.
Nurse practitioner: Lauren, since your last visit you made us aware that you were smoking cigarettes every now and then, has anything changed since then?
Lauren: Huh, um, uh, what? My mouth starts watering. I'm not smoking nicotine as per right now, I've been trying to take a tolerance break, as of right now I have quit nicotine but don't know what the future holds for me with that. But, with the support of my family and my girlfriend I don't see myself using nicotine ever again. However I have been smoking herbal cigarettes that contain 0% nicotine and so far it's helping a lot. Yesterday my youngest sibling sabotaged me and put a cigarette with nicotine in the pack and when I lit the cigarette I immediately ran inside and threw up, my throat still burns.
Nurse practitioner: Thank you Lauren, the doctor will be in here shortly.
Doctor: Hello Lauren, good to see you, I see you brought company. From the looks of it, your throat looks sore after you accidentally smoked the cigarette that contained nicotine. Good news is I see no signs of lung cancer and your lungs seem very healthy. I would suggest lay off the singing for the time being, drink plenty of water and most importantly get some rest, alright? I must commend you for finding the courage to quit smoking, the herbal cigarettes are a much better alternative.
Lauren: Thank you so much doctor. I will make sure to get plenty of rest and do as you requested. Bye!
Christina: Lo, we're home.
Lauren; Baby, will you cuddle on the couch with me, I'm really tired.
Lexi: Sure thing babe I say leaned in to kiss her. I love you my beautiful girl.
Lauren: I love you more baby.
Lauren: Ough, Ough, Ough, Ough
Lexi: Babe you okay? Here drink some water my love
Lauren: Thank you, I'm good now, did I fall asleep?
Lexi: Yes babe you did, do you want to smoke your herbal cigarette now to maybe calm down? I will let you smoke uninterrupted and if you want to be alone go for it.
