Dani: Lauren are you sure you forgive me? What I did was really hurtful and I feel so bad.
Lauren: Dan, it's fine. Come here and give me a hug, I'm not mad or upset anymore, you had every right to be mad at me. I deserved it, I didn't know how bad my drug usage effected you, I only smoke herbal cigarettes and vape from my JUUL a few times a day. You maybe wanna go outside and private and talk?
Dani: I'd love that, thanks.

Lexi: Okay!
Lauren: It is a little chilly, let's go in my car and I can turn on the heat. Let me just light up this herbal cigarette real fast because if I don't have my vape pen in my hand or a herbal cigarette I get agitated.
Dani: Herbal cigarettes aren't addictive right and they don't have an odor?
Lauren: mmmm correct
Dani: I have a pretty good idea of how nicotine effects the brain, I got a little taste of it in jail.
Lauren: Dan, are you for real? Are you sure it was nicotine? They don't allow that crap in jail!
Dani: I only did it once and unfortunately yes. It was disgusting. You know I really missed you, out of curiosity Lauren why do you use nicotine?
Lauren: It just takes the edge off, it makes me feel good, it helps me calm down. I know it's not good for me but I am lowering my intake. Listen, I'm really sorry about how I ignored you in the past. I wish I would have known sooner. Your my baby sister and I can't be mad at you anymore. What do you say we go inside? Do you mind if Lexi still lives with us?
Dani: Lauren, I would love her to live with you. Unfortunately I have to turn myself in again, I was only released to come apologize, I need to turn myself in back to police custody again by tomorrow morning or else a warrant will go out for my arrest. I'm not done serving my sentence and can't appeal again.
Lauren: Aww okay, at least let me bring you back. It's the least I could do, let me get you some more comfortable clothing too. Let's go inside and we can get you all packed up.
Dani: Okay
Lauren: Hold up Dani, let me take a few more long drags. Mhmmmm mmmm I let out a relaxed moan.
Dani; Laur, are those good?
Lauren: They are definitely good. Why?
Dani: Can I try?
Lauren: Sure, here. Take a nice long drag and then exhale slowly.
Dani: Wow, this is delicious. Can you give me a full cigarette?
Lauren: Sure here you go I say flicking the lighter.
Dani: Mhmmm so good, my tastebuds are tingling, Lauren this is so incredibly good. You don't mind if we hotbox in your car?
Lauren: Not at all, let me just get a quick hit of nicotine in my system, mmmm I say exhaling the smoke from my JUUL. I'm gonna light up another herbal cigarette, let me just put out this one. Aghh I say exhaling the remaining smoke in my lungs. You know, I could really use a Marlboro right about now but I promised Lexi I would never smoke another cigarette again. Mhmm I say inhaling the fumes from the herbal cigarette. This is so nice, so so nice. This really hits the spot.
Dani: Laur thanks for letting me smoke a herbal cigarette with you, it was definitely enjoyable. I will stay away from nicotine in jail. I definitely don't think I will be smoking herbal cigarettes though, maybe if it's just you and me alone together then I might. May I ask what the ring on your finger is?
Lauren: It's a promise ring that Lexi gave me. It's a promise that she is never to leave me and always be here for me, etc. Wow, that chamomile cigarette sure is making me sleepy, I'm sorry Dan. I might need to take a nap for a good hour and then I can help you pack up.
Dani: Whatever works for you Lauren, it's okay.
Lauren: Baby! I'm feeling sleepy, can you take a nap with me?
