My smile faded but still, I tried to look at her. She looked happy with me, not arrogant as she appeared before.

"Do you mind telling me how your mother died?" I asked her but she shook her head. She looked up at me blankly before saying.

"She had a terminal illness and died because of that. My father was always busy with his Mafia business so he never paid attention to us. Even when mom died, he was on a mission. After my mom's funeral, I still lived under the same roof as my father but we never crossed paths. I started making webtoons secretly along with my studies and handed them over to an Editor who helped me publish them.

And successfully my first work debuted but I still was under my father's care so I debuted under my pen name Pomme. Then as years went by, I saved up the money I received from drawing webtoons and completed my studies so I decided to move out from my father's house. I became a full-time webtoon artist and you can guess what happened after that." She said and continued eating the pastry that she had left uneaten till now.

"Wow, I really applaud your determination toward webtoon. You really are a genius like I thought you to be." I let out honestly and she looked at me.

"Only my mother used to call me Ari and after I left my father's house this is the first time in 5 years that I heard my name," She said and my eyes widened.

"You haven't heard your own name from anyone?" I asked in disbelief and she shook her head. "My Editor, color artists, and fans call me Pomme. And I don't have any friends. So yeah it has been a long time."

"Wait! Hold on! Your father didn't send you here?" I asked and she looked at me in annoyance.

She took her phone in her hands and did something on it before keeping the screen in front of my face. "He just sent me this. So I came here since I don't want to reply to his message to refuse him."

I looked at the screen of her father's inbox having no messages but just a single one.

"You have a blind date today.
Time: 3 pm
Venue: Beverly Cafe
Name: Jeon Jungkook
Job: Mafia King
Appearance: Wavy black locks, tattoos on his hands, pale skin tone, mole under his lips."

My eyes shifted back to her and she retracted her hand. I sipped on the drink that the waiter left and looked at her.

"This looks like your dad gave you a mission to kill me today if we ignore the first line," I said and she chuckled, making my heart flutter.

"You are right. But I am glad I came." She said and looked at me while I raised my eyebrows at her. "You enjoyed this date?" I asked her and she nodded.

"It felt good. I have social anxiety but it was comfortable with you." She shrugged and I let out a deep exhale that I was holding in.

"Oh my God! I was so nervous that you will think I am a crazy mafia obsessed over childish webtoons. Oh my Goodness. I am glad that you enjoyed it-"

"Jungkook," she called out and I stopped talking to look at her, "do you really talk a lot?" She asked and I sat back with a shocked face, embarrassed for talking so much.

But after a few seconds, I heard her laugh. She looked up at me and jiggled her hand in negatively while her other hand covered her mouth to hide her laughs.

"I am just joking. I hate it when people talk but your talks are fun." She said while laughing and I adored her behavior. She stopped laughing and wiped the tears from the corner of her eyes. She fixed her blazer and looked at me.

"I haven't laughed in a long time. Thank you so much, Jungkook." She said and I grinned at her.

"My greatest pleasure, Ari," I said and she smiled sweetly at me. "You are a great person, Jungkook. I thought that the Mafia King will be cold and heartless but never thought that he will be such a gentleman." She said and I shook my head.

I was so glad that I made her feel comfortable. This blind date was a success. I can't wait to return back home and kiss my dad as soon as I enter his mansion.

I watched Ari's eyes slowly trail down to the untouched red velvet pastry in front of me. I quickly slid the plate to her. "Eat, I don't feel like."

"I know. That is why I ordered both of my favorite flavors so that I can have the other one if you don't eat but asked for your opinion just in case you change your mind."
"Woah! You planned it all. No wonder you are the genius crime writer, Miss Pomme." We laughed and felt comfortable with each other.

Ari took a bite of the cake and then the next thing she did, made me smile even wider. She took a piece of cake on her spoon before bringing it to my mouth which I gladly let her feed me. I can't wait to date her!

"I had a great time, Ari," I said while walking behind her to her white Porsche Panamera. She turned to look at me and bowed at me. "Me too, Jungkook."

"But next time I will pay. I feel so bad for you, paying for today." I whined at her and she raised an eyebrow, her arrogant self, possessing her again.

"You didn't even eat anything and I have a lot of money so I don't mind paying. No problem, you can pay for the next time. I will make sure that I choose an expensive place." She said and I scoffed at her but felt butterflies in my stomach at her words.

"That's an awful way to tell someone to meet again. Be good, Ari." I said poking her waist while she twitched in reflex and glared at me. She punched my arm with her small hand which didn't even feel like a punch while I chuckled at her trial.

"You go first," she said and I shook my head. "Lady first."

"You are my fanboy. Listen to your idol." She said and I gasped at the way she is threatening me. "Okay, Miss. Pomme," I said while moving away from her white sports car and moving back to my blue Bugatti.

I unlocked the door and sat inside, buckling my seatbelt and starting the engine. I looked at her, still standing on the pavement next to the cafe and looking at me with soft eyes but a face full of arrogance.

I waved my hands at her and saw her bow to me so I started driving the car. I was driving when I saw her getting inside her car through my side view mirror. I smiled and moved my steering wheel, already feeling so good about this.

"Wow, the Mafia Fanboy finally met his idol."
