HeavenLeigh POV

"Alright press record, let's do it" I said to Roddy.

We were in our home studio, and since I'm working on my first album I wanted him included. So I created an interlude and he agreed to sing and harmonize with me.

"Aight, so it's you first. Then the second time around I come in and harmonize wit cha right?" Roddy asked.

"Yep" I said.

"Aight I got you" He said before he pressed record, and I started playing the piano first.

He watched me as I played and I closed my eyes beginning to sing.

"Know... That, you are loveeeed..
Evennnn.. If you don't love yourself" I sang.

I opened my eyes and looked at Roddy and we both smiled as we started singing and harmonizing together.

"Know... That, you are loveeeed
Evennnn if you don't love yourself" We both sang.

I started playing the piano as we both got silent, and I looked over at him. He winked at me and I blushed, before we continued.

I sung at a higher octave, doing some runs while he sang the lyrics for me, then I joined him.

"Even if you don't love yourself" We both sang.

"I love you" I mumbled to him.

"I love you more." He said back.

That wasn't part of the song but hey, it came natural, and I felt the need to tell him. And I'm gone keep it in there. Such an authentic feel.

"Just knowwww..." I sang.

"I knowwww" He sang back.

"That you are loved" I sang.

"Even, if you don't love yourself" He sang back.

Then I played it out, on the piano and Roddy just watched me. I smiled a little before I just closed my eyes, tilting my head back, getting lost in the music.

I'd probably lose my mind if I didn't have music to be honest.

I finished playing it out and I stopped the recording. Then I looked over at Roddy and said "Baby we did that, in one take."

He smiled and said "That's because it was real."

I grabbed his hand and intertwined my fingers with his saying "I know.." Before I put our hands to my heart.

He leaned in and gave me a kiss, and I kissed him back.

"Thank you for doing it with me." I said to him.

"Oh of course" He said.

"It's such a short, yet meaningful interlude. Powerful words. I want this album to mean something to the people. Want it to touch their hearts. Because the songs I've created thus far, I could feel it. In my heart" I said.

"And that's what makes yo music beautiful. And you, even more beautiful than you already are" Roddy said and I blushed.

"Aww thank you my baby." I said.

"We need you in this cold world. Your strength. So gone head and speak yo truth, cause we need you." Roddy said and I looked at him.
