(This plays when Dally, Johnny and Pony got to the hospital)
Pony was sitting next to me, his face black from the heavy smoke and soot of the church. He was smoking a cancer stick, trying to keep calm. I wished it was that easy. In the past few hours so much happened, I'm glad I didn't get a heart attack from it.
It felt like hours sitting in the waiting room, waiting for the docs or nurses to let us go. I leaned on Pony's shoulder, hoping, I could relay a bit. I couldn't be more wrong. Just as I closed my eyes, I heard wheels being rolled by. Opening my eyes slightly, I saw Johnny and Dally being wheeled by on separate hospital beds. Poor Johnny looked awful. I hope he'll be alright. Dally seemed alright, so at least one good thing.
I wasn't paying attention for a second, when Pony abruptly stood up and ran into the direction of the exit, right into Soda's arms. Darry was standing, a bit helplessly, behind, before Pony ran up to him, too, embracing him in a hug. They all shared a group hug, before I walked up to them. Darry and Soda gave me a smile of relief, and pulled me into the hug, too. I didn't know what to do or where to go right now, and as if Darry could read minds, he said this:
,,You can stay with us.''
,,Thank you.'' :)
