It was one of those rainy days, where you didn't know, what to do. Well, going out was obviously not an option, it's raining way too heavy, and the wind just makes it worse. You just hoped, your roof wouldn't suddenly collapse. It was a pretty sturdy roof, and just recently got fixed, but you still were aware of it. Even though Darry assured you, after he and his co-workers were done fixing it, that it would hold a pretty long time.
After minutes of deciding, you thought of picking up an old hobby again: Crocheting. Both your grandmother and mother taught you it, and every not and then, you made little things, like gloves or hats or oven mitts, and gifted them to whoever wanted one.
Gathering your crocheting needles and some yarn, you made yourself comfortable on the couch in the living room, putting on the TV and crocheting away.
After a few hours and five oven mitts, a knock on the door startled you. Putting out the TV and setting your crocheting gear aside, you stood up from the couch and opened the door. Johnny was standing in front of you, looking a bit bear up. You hoped, that wasn't the case.
,,Hey Johnnycakes, you alright? Wanna come in?''
,,I'm good. And yeah, thanks.''
,,Always.''
You let him in, sitting back on the couch, patting next to you. He sat down, leaning onto you. You laid back on the couch, your arms around his upper body.
,,So, what's the honour for today's visit, Johnnycakes?''
Both of you laughed at the way that sentence sounded, when Johnny grabbed an oven mitt from the coffee table, inspecting it.
,,Crocheting? That's the name of it, right? Haven't seen you do it in a bit.''
,,Yeah, I just do it every now and then when I'm bored. You know, do you wanna learn how to crochet? I think, you'll like it!''
Johnny sat up, turning around to face you.
,,Alright, well...How do I start?''
For the next few hours, you delved in with Johnny, trying to teach him crocheting in the easiest way, and not too fast. At first, he's had his fair share of struggles, but after a bit, he figured it out.
The rest of the day, you two made like a million oven mitts, giving them out to neighbours the next day:)

So, as you read, that it was heavily raining outside: Poor Johnny slipped on the way to Y/N's house, and hit his face on the pavement. It were just some scratches, but now you know:)
