Taking a request. We're going into detail about I.N.F.J. Today we're talking about the first letter: I.

I, as you know by now, stands for Introverted.

INFJs are, as you can tell, introverts, but not fully introverted. In fact, ANFJ would be better, because they're more of ambiverts. Unfortunately, 16personalities doesn't have ANFJ, ASTP, etc. That's a definite flaw of 16personalities, and we have to let them know somehow.

When introverts go to new places, for example a new school, they are closed off, awkward, embarrassed...you name it.

But when they finally open up, allow themselves to get used to the situation, talk to people, make friends, settle down...

Lemme give you an example. I'm comfortable talking to and doing stuff with people in my class; we're all a little mean to each other in a fun way but still a team and we stick together.

Our class has formed a bond, a tie like nothing else, like we're almost a family.

But other random strangers at school...nah. INFJs don't talk to them, they don't talk to INFJs.

We, as INFJs, can't go randomly strike up a conversation with a random stranger, because that's our nature. That's how we're made.

The most we ever do is say hi back to people and answer questions asked to us, reply when someone mentions us.

That's us...the ANFJs. Except 16personalities put I instead of A. You can call us Extroverted Introverts, so then we're EINFJ-T's or A's. Or maybe AINFJs. It's complicated.

Yes, that's a good word...complicated. That's exactly what INFJ is.
