Chapter 8: Contacting More Aliens?

My dreams have gotten a little less scary, but not by much. I had a dream the other night that I was captured by hunters! I'm not gonna lie, it was terrifying. They had a weird device that played a frequency that made starseeds sick, and that was how they'd find them and take them in. To my knowledge, nothing like that actually exists, so it was definitely just my anxiety making me have a dream like that, but it was still freaky.

I also have some sad news- my chakra necklace broke. I still have the pendant part but the actual chain is done for. I'm hoping to get a new, stronger chain for it to fix it. I have a history of accidentally breaking jewelry because I'm kind of accident prone, but that also means I'm used to fixing it!

Speaking of jewelry, that tiger's eye necklace was probably one of my best recent purchases. Every single time I wear it to work, I seem to get things done a lot faster and more efficiently! I don't think I've ever had a crystal work so well for me, and I've definitely never had one work so fast.

I've started to feel a stronger connection to Lyra than usual lately. I'm not exactly sure why, but I do know that it might have something to do with a lot of Andromedans actually being descendants of a Lyran colony that settled in Andromeda.
I think my cats have picked up on it too, because even though they were already super connected with me, these past few days we've gotten along even more than usual. They almost treat me like one of their own, which makes sense because Lyrans are supposed to be feline creatures!

This newfound connection to Lyra makes me a bit nervous, though. I've heard stories of Lyrans contacting Lyran starseeds on Earth and the ways they do it are... less than ideal.
I've heard people talk about headaches, fainting, illness, and even seizures around the time of contact. I think it's because although starseeds are aliens, we're in human bodies which weren't exactly built for alien contact, so alien energies/frequencies can cause problems.
This probably isn't exclusive to Lyra, though, and might just be something all starseeds have to be prepared to deal with. If I ever receive direct contact, let's just hope that it's not too stressful on my body.

Also, sorry in advance if updates become a little slower, usually the only time I get to write is like an hour in my university's library every other weekday. I try to find more time to write but between spending time with my boyfriend (who I really don't want to discover my starseed side just yet) and work, I really don't have much time for anything else.
