At lunchtime, Sky joined Bloom on the lawn for a moment together, as they had become accustomed to doing every day. Since he knew the truth about his parents, he hadn't told anyone, and today he wanted to tell his girlfriend. She had to know, he knew she would understand him better than anyone else, because she too was trying to find her biological parents.

After lunch they sat on the grass, enjoying the gentle sunshine. The Specialist put his arm around his fairy's waist, drawing her to him to place a kiss on her temple.

"I have something important to tell you," he began, unsure of himself.

She looked up at him, a little startled. She, who thought she knew everything about him, couldn't help but wonder.

"Me too, but I'd rather you tell me first," she replied with a nervous laugh.

Sky squinted. The girl seemed very embarrassed by the situation, what could she be hiding from him? He would find out soon enough.
He took a deep breath before speaking.

"I learned the truth about my parents."

Immediately his girlfriend stiffened, overcome with a feeling of jealousy. He knew, and now he could move on with his life. As for her, she was still stuck at square one.

"My mom is alive, and I've known her all my life," he explained with emotion. "Farah was badly injured, my sire raped her, and she got pregnant with me. Saul married her and they chose to keep me because they couldn't conceive together."

Bloom hugged him, compassionate and shocked. She had not expected such a truth about her boyfriend.

"I'm sorry, that's really horrible, I don't have the words," she murmured, indignant at the criminal behavior of the man who had been praised so much at Alfea.

"That asshole disgusts me, he's lucky he's already dead, otherwise I would have torn him apart for the harm he's done to my mom," he grumbled with disdain, resentful. "Farah is an absolutely wonderful, brave and strong woman. I am proud to be her son."

The teenager stroked his cheek, her eyes shining with pride.

"Me too," she whispered.

She placed her hands behind his shoulder blades to pull him closer to herself, before trapping his lips in her. Each time they met was magical, and each kiss made them feel in heaven. On this lawn, where anyone could see them kissing, they didn't care what anyone may have said.
When the fairy wanted to waltz her tongue around with her lover's, he parted his lips to make it easier for her. Nothing could separate them, their tongues were caressing each other, and the butterflies were flying more and more in their stomachs.
For Bloom, it was also a way of delaying the moment when she would have to confess her terrible secret. A secret that could have broken their relationship.
Coincidentally, it was at this moment that Sky ended their kissing session, looking worried, which did not bode well.

"Bloom, didn't you have something to tell me?" he questioned, dreading what he was about to find out.

With shifting eyes, the fairy began to wrap a lock of hair around her finger, very uncomfortable. This only made the young guy's apprehension grow.

"I...I've made a huge mistake, the kind of mistake that's hard to forgive, and I don't know if it will be possible to go on together," she admitted in a small, trembling voice.

At that moment, Sky began to imagine all sorts of scenarios, including the fact that she might have cheated on him with someone else. But he was way off base. The truth was far worse than he could have imagined.

"What kind of mistake?" he inquired, backing away slightly. "Does this concern the two of us?"

She watched him take a few steps backwards. Even he was fleeing her, and she instantly felt lonely.

"Something bad, really bad, and I regret it, but it's nothing to do with our relationship," she answered, still unable to confess everything.

Sky grunted and caught her wrist firmly, losing patience.

"What? Speak, damn it!"

She fiercely lifted her head towards him to stare into his eyes.

"I freed Rosalind and she got away," she said sheepishly.

Her boyfriend let go of her wrist and turned pale. This sentence fell like a bolt from the blue.

"You did what?!" he exclaimed, panicking.

"I set her free, she promised me she would tell me the truth, but she still hasn't," she lamented, ashamed.

In addition to being ashamed of what she had done, the fairy felt as if she had been fooled, for Rosalind had not spoken to her since.

"We could have found your biological parents together!" he cried in a reproachful tone, angry at her. "Damn it Bloom, if they locked her up, it wasn't for nothing, now she could be anywhere!"

The young guy felt betrayed by the girl he loved. What she had done was a purely selfish act, she had not thought about the risks to the school, to his mom.

"It's okay, Sky, we'll find her and bring her back, she's alone, we are two," she retorted with a shrug.

Beside himself, the Specialist could not help but grab her by the shoulders and shake her violently. At that moment, he thought of Farah, whose past life had been a living hell.

"I don't think you realize how dangerous she is, and I know my mom will be the first one to pay the price! Silva and Harvey will be the next ones, because she'll want revenge on those who condemned her to solitude! You don't know how desperate my mom has felt since you told her about her. Rosalind has hurt her so much, and, even I don't know exactly what she has done to her. All I know is that, because of you, my mom will continue to suffer, and I can't accept that, so you'd better make sure you defeat her plans for revenge!"

Bloom stood for a moment, motionless, catching her breath, completely stunned. Sky had never spoken to her in that tone, he was in a rage, and it was quite understandable. And above all, he wouldn't help her, this time she would have to go it alone.

"Are you going to tell your parents?" she asked, lowering her head, anxious for the rest of her schooling.

He clenched jaws, his resentment and anger still very much present.

"Yes, Bloom, I have no choice, I can't conceal such a grave act."

The teenager sighed, awfully uneasy. She was so mad at herself for believing Rosalind and setting her free.

"I'm sorry, I should have listened to you, it was stupid of me," she apologised flatly.

He ignored her apology, deeply hurt. He had to get off this lawn, isolate himself before classes resume.

"You're bugging me, I need to get some fresh air," he grumbled as he moved further away.

"We're already outside, you know," she teased him innocently, trying to lighten the mood.

She could tell by the murderous look on his face that he still wasn't ready to forgive her and decided to get inside without a word, upset by their argument.
Once again she had made a bad choice, this time endangering the entire school, starting with Farah, her husband, and the other teachers.

Without knowing it, she had let the devil in. And she was probably going to lose the guy she was in love with.
