As the paramedics were evacuating poor Luna's body, a devastated Stella was running behind the stretcher, crying. Ben had had time to explain to her what had happened, but that couldn't ease her pain and anger. She had lost her mother this morning and would never see her again, all because of Rosalind. How could she be so evil? All because she had condemned her actions and had gotten involved with the botany teacher. The young fairy sniffed. Her mother had seemed so happy with her private life in recent weeks that it had put her in a better mood. But now it was all over. As the stretcher bearers, amidst a crowd of students, were about to take the body into the ambulance, Rosalind appeared before them, icy. She didn't care about the police officers who were canvassing the area.

"You're not going anywhere with her," she declared with folded arms, glaring at them.

The police officers tried to intervene and Ben arrived just in time, accompanied by Stella, before his enemy could dispose of the troublemakers in an immoral manner.

"After what you did to her, the least you can do is let her have a decent burial, Rosalind," Ben grumbled, threatening.

He, usually so wise, was now ready to do battle with this old hag. She had crossed a line that should not had been crossed: torturing and killing his beloved woman.

"You're so naive," she scoffed. "Do you really think you can stop me from keeping her here? Stop me from making her disappear?"

Stella and her teacher exchanged a look. Ben could see the distress and pain in the teenager's eyes, and despite his desire to attack the fairy, he restrained himself from doing so. He had to find a line of defence before she attacked the paramedics. He focused on creating a wall of vines and brambles between Rosalind and the ambulance. The fairy anticipated this and sent a blast of energy at him in an attempt to take control of his mind, but Professor Harvey had cunningly shielded himself and Stella. Stella, beside herself, felt the energy surge through her. She was feeling a nameless rage slowly destroying her, and she knew that she had to channel this negative energy if she wanted to use it against the headmistress. She closed her eyes, ready to attack. Rosalind underestimated her power and control, for she had trained with her mother without her knowledge. She had only one desire: if not to kill her, to blind her for the rest of her life. When she felt ready, to the surprise of the murderess, she disappeared behind a curtain of glittering light before sending a brilliant wave right at her enemy, who wavered to the point of falling to the ground, confused. The paramedics took advantage of this moment of respite to flee with the body. Stella was just as surprised as Ben, the students and even Rosalind that she had wings and could fly through the air.
Furious, Rosalind stood up and pointed at her.

"You'll pay dearly for this," she assured, her eyes on fire. "How about joining your mommy?"

Stella clenched her fists, boiling with rage and blaming herself for not being powerful enough to make her lose her sight.

"You're so despicable, you disgust me," she spat before running off towards the ambulance, which had just started.

Ben, meanwhile, glared at his worst enemy with animosity and hostility. He had sworn to destroy her and he intended to keep his promise.
As the police officers, having decided to follow the ambulance that had already left, were about to leave the school grounds, they suddenly hit an invisible wall, against which the car crashed head-on, leaving no chance for its occupants. Students screamed, shocked by the violence of the scene. The botany teacher looked at Rosalind in disbelief, shaking his head.

"You really need to be treated," he said wickedly.

She smiled at him, clearly pleased with her spell.

"I warned you that no one would leave here."

She turned to the students present and, by thought, instructed them to remain quiet.

"Attention please! From now on, no one leaves the school, you are my students, under my responsibility, and if any of you ever touch the barrier, you will end up like those poor police officers..."

Protests rose in the courtyard, the students wondered what had bitten her and even began to fear for their lives.

"Rosalind, stop that right now, that's nonsense, the students have done nothing to you!" shouted Ben in an attempt to reason with her.

She shrugged before addressing him like he was a child.

"Come on Ben, it's not the students I'm after...they're part of my plan, they're going to help me...and you, you won't be able to run away, and your dear Farah won't be able to help you from where she is. Neither will your darling Luna. As for Bloom, she will one day be at my mercy. She and I are destined to achieve great things."

Professor Harvey remained unmoved by her revelations. He had guessed that she was trying to send him to his grave, to Luna, and even though he no longer had the will to live, he had to fight for her and to avenge her. But also to prevent her from making Bloom her puppet. Beatrix, Riven and Dane were already under her control. If she could take control of Bloom and her friends, he had no chance, for only the Dragon Flame had the power to destroy the crystal and Rosalind. He had to warn Farah and quickly come up with a plan with the help of his children and their friends, it was their only chance to bring Rosalind down and bring Farah back to the head of Alfea.
