This morning, the sun's rays were bathing Farah's still sleeping face, warming it slightly after this more than trying evening. Ultimately, more fear than harm, no casualties were reported, all the injured had recovered thanks to Bloom, and the headmistress had given everyone a day off before the weekend so that the students could recover from the traumatic attack.
Saul had woken up earlier than his wife, and was glad to see that the night had gone exceptionally well, as Rosalind had not bothered her in her dreams. The Specialist was somewhat relieved, although he sensed that this respite would only be short-lived and was considering the worst for the future.

While waiting for his fairy to open her eyes, he discreetly got up to cook a good breakfast composed of bread, eggs, bacon, pancakes, jam, honey, fruit and tea, which he put on a tray before bringing it into the room, with the aim of eating quietly together in bed.
Listening to the silence in the room, Saul gazed at his wife's peaceful face, tenderised. She was at peace, Alfea and the students were safe.
He had the sudden urge to hug her and bury his lips in her neck, but he held back. For once she was sleeping properly, he didn't want to wake her up.
Noting that it was still early, he went back under the duvet. He knew that being present when the woman he loved would wake up was essential after all the stress she had been under for so long.
As he pulled the blanket over him, he heard her stir.

"Mmmh Saul, you're up already?" she mumbled, opening her eyes in confusion.

Shit! He thought he'd let her sleep a little longer, but it was not so.

"I'm sorry I woke you up, I'm really sorry, I should have been more discreet," he apologised, caressing her face, embarrassed, blaming himself for waking her up. "I've made breakfast."

She stood up abruptly, interested, but her attention was focused more on her husband, to whom she gave a naughty glance.

"Breakfast? What breakfast?" she joked with a look of surprise. "I thought you were my breakfast."

He laughed sweetly, very amused by this spontaneous reaction of his beloved.

"It's not the right time, darling, we've got all day," he replied as he wrapped his arms around her, placing a soft kiss on her bare shoulder.

She sighed loudly, displeased and disappointed.

"That's a shame, I feel like devouring you..."

Apparently she was more in the mood for cuddles than food, but an ingenious idea occurred to him to get her to agree to eat something.
As she was covering his torso with sensual kisses, comfortably snuggled in his arms, he grabbed a warm pancake and placed it on his chest before drizzling it with honey, his wife looking on in disbelief.

"Saul! What are you doing?" she lectured him gently. "You'll stain the sheets!"

He gave her a mischievous gaze before taking her hand.

"You can devour me, you know, but you have to start with the pancake first."

"Are you serious?" she asked, laughing.

Her husband had some strange ideas, but, crazed with desire, and smelling the delicious odour of the pancake with honey, she rushed on his chest to devour it.
The bacon slices, however, suffered the same fate as the spaghetti in 'Lady and the Tramp'.

A few hours later, after a cuddly start to the day with her husband, Farah decided to check on her son. She found him sitting on a bench near the training grounds, chatting with Ben.

"Is everything okay?" she questioned as she sat down next to her son and placed her hand on his, worried.

Sky nodded with a smile, pleased that she was concerned about them after what they had been through.

"We were talking about yesterday, about Bloom's prowess, without whom many would have lost their lives," he answered, his eyes sparkling. "Despite what she did a few weeks ago, I'm very proud of her."

A flicker of sadness crossed his mother's eyes, who knew the danger the girl was in because of Rosalind.

"How is she?"

"She's gone home for the weekend with her roommates," the Specialist informed her, reassuringly. "She needed to see her parents, and tell them the truth."

His son's words soothed the fairy a little, and she was glad that the teenager was recharging her batteries with her family. She stared at the botany teacher, questioning him with her eyes, trying to find out how he was feeling.

"Honestly, if Rosalind was still locked in the basement, I'd be the happiest," he admitted sadly. "Sam made it through his wound and I can't thank Bloom enough for that, and Musa for absorbing his pain. Yet, I can't seem to be delighted, Rosalind has gone out of her way to test Bloom, and I fear she will hurt her in an attempt to steal her powers."

At that moment, the headmistress felt like falling into pieces, as if she hadn't slept in days. Something was trying to penetrate her mind, and she could not fight against this overpowering force. Rosalind! It was her! Her image appeared clearly in her mind, standing proudly in the soldiers' graveyard in the middle of the forest.

"Meet me now, I have some revelations to make..." her soothing voice whispered.

And in a second, the image disappeared. Farah came to her senses under the worried gaze of her son and her best friend.
The young man put his hand on her shoulder in concern.

"Are you okay, Mom?"

She nodded frantically and stood up. Even if the blonde fairy was dangerous, she had to go, she had to talk to her. She wanted to put an end to the daily nightmare she was living, once and for all, but the last thing she wanted to do was bring Saul up to speed, as he might follow her and put himself in unnecessary danger.
However, she couldn't lie to her son.

"Listen, I have a problem to deal with immediately at the graveyard. I have to go to the forest, please don't follow me, I don't want to put you in danger, you two and Saul," she warned them, looking serious. "Don't ask me any questions, and do as I say, Alfea depends on it."

Before they could open their mouths, she vanished before their stunned eyes.

"It isn't looking good, if you ask me," Professor Harvey muttered in anguish. "I'm afraid your mom has put herself in a risky situation..."

Sky bowed his head, holding back tears. When Farah Dowling made a decision, contradicting her was almost mission impossible, but he was angry that he couldn't hold her back and feared for her life.
