When the two men stormed into the room, Farah was convulsing, eyes closed, still trapped in her nightmare.
Saul felt his heart about to explode or to break, his breathing stop, and his legs could no longer hold him. Seeing her in this condition did not bode well, and the Specialist's anxiety quickly rose. Rosalind was manipulating his wife as she pleased, and her quest of revenge had drove her to torture her, to make her live and relive the worst horrors. But this night the situation seemed far more alarming, for the fairy was very agitated and suffocating.
From her open mouth a little string of white foam began to flow, and at that moment a terrible image came to her husband's mind. Her poisoning during the battle of Aster Dell. Lying on her cot, shivering, delirious, her skin icy and wet. She had identical symptoms: the convulsions, the choking, the foaming, it was all there.

"Rosalind is making her relive her poisoning, and I think if we don't wake her up, she's going to die!" he exclaimed, overcome with panic. "I swear, if I'm a widower tomorrow morning, I'll find that bitch and gut her, just like that asshole Andreas!"

To back up his pain and rage, he spat on the floor. Farah was his reason for living, his universe, his star, his light. Andreas had destroyed her, Rosalind too, and she was still doing it after more than fifteen years. He couldn't stand that, that made him want to puke. Losing her was unimaginable, his world would fall apart forever, and so would Alfea. Sky's mom was such a powerful fairy that a death like that was hardly believable.

"No way, she'd kill you long before you could get near her," her friend protested, shaking his head in concern. "We need to wake Farah up, and to do that I need to prepare the same antidote as the one that saved her life."

Saul lifted his head, clinging desperately to this last hope.

"You still know the recipe?"

His friend nodded, determined.

"Yes, I do, but I'll need to concoct it at the greenhouse before daybreak, otherwise I'm afraid she'll be no longer with us by morning," he explained, holding his arm reassuringly. "Stay here with her, you are her only hold on this astral plane, she needs to hear your voice and feel your touch on her skin."

Ben left the room, made his way to the greenhouse like a shot and rummaged through his cabinet. Fortunately, there were no extra ingredients to order, everything was ready to use.
Vanilla pollen, aloe vera sap, bamboo water and crushed poppy seeds from Linphea.
He hurriedly made up the potion, while in the room Saul was keeping his hand on Farah's, having dabbed the foam on her chin with a tissue. In her delirium, the fairy was groaning plaintively, trying to get up at times, haggard, but her husband prevented her from doing so, lest she fall off the bed and get hurt.

"Focus on my voice, sweetheart, Ben has found a remedy to get you out of this nightmare," he whispered, placing tender kisses on her hand.

She seemed to calm down for a moment, her breathing still very fast and heavy.

A few minutes later, Ben was already back with a small vial containing a cloudy liquid.

"Quick, pass it to me, I'll put some on her lips," his friend ordered, holding out his hand, anxious to know if his fairy had any chance of surviving, and getting her out of this.

The botany teacher handed him the vial, also worried sick.

"Don't use too much, one drop should be enough."

His friend nodded and poured a drop onto a tissue, which he used to moisten his wife's lips.
When she felt the liquid on her lips, she couldn't help but grunt and run her tongue over it.
Within seconds her demeanor changed radically: her breathing slowed, her muscles relaxed, and her whole body went limp.

"The potion is working, she should wake up in no time," the botanist assured him, quite confidently.

Saul squeezed his wife's hand and brought his face close to hers, ready to call out to her again, but at that moment she opened her eyes.

"Saul," she moaned, reaching for him, her eyes misty. "You just saved my life."

He responded to her need for affection and drew her to him, kissing her forehead, holding her as if he might lose her at any moment, trying to fight back tears, upset.

"Oh, damn it, Farah, I thought you'd never wake up and I was going to lose you forever," he admitted, completely upside down. "Good thing Ben was able to reconstitute the antidote."

The fairy moved slightly away from his body, taking his face in her hands to stroke his cheeks with her fingertips, staring at him, her eyes shining with gratitude. She was still very pale, and her skin damp. Her beautiful glossy golden hair was flowing around her face.

"I'm here, love, she didn't succeed in poisoning me, you had the right hunch when you told Ben about the poisoning," she comforted him in a soft voice. "You know, I was able to hear everything that was going on, each sound, but I was trapped."

Her husband ran a hand through her mane, before moving down to the back of her neck and gently grazing it.

"Just forget about it, you're with us, that's the main thing."

Naturally, their lips found each other and then cherished each other with melancholy, tongues dancing together. The place of each one's lips was on the other's, but Rosalind might soon separate spouses forever. As long as her enemy was alive, she would hunt her down, until Saul's wife allowed herself to be killed.

Ben walked over to the couple, looking serious, and placed his hand on the headmistress' shoulder.

"We need to get Rosalind off the perimeter as soon as possible, or she'll get her way again," he told them calmly.

The Specialist nodded his head in agreement. Although his friend seemed relaxed, he could be a completely different person when his loved ones were in danger. He was both a quiet force and a dormant volcano, until he erupted.

Farah turned to him and smiled.

"Thank you, Ben, without your cure she would have finished me off."

She was infinitely grateful to him. Her husband and her best friend had worked hand in hand to save her, one had come up with the idea, the other had implemented it.

"You're welcome, Fa, you know that, you're my best friends, both of you," he replied, tightening his fingers around her shoulder.

However, all three knew that the situation was only temporary. As soon as the fairy closed her eyes, Rosalind would take the opportunity to assault her again, until she passed away.
