It had been almost an hour since night had fallen and the Burned Ones had invaded Alfea. Some unwary students had ventured outside and were now among the injured ones, whom Ben was treating as best he could with the help of his daughter.
Farah and Saul, meanwhile, were doing their best to protect everyone, with the help of former students.
Suddenly all the lights went out, plunging the school into total darkness and panic.
At that moment, everything became clear in the headmistress' mind.

"Saul, the Burned Ones did not break through the barrier, because it no longer exists," she told her husband, taking his hand, looking serious.

He glanced at her in surprise.

"What are you talking about?"

He didn't understand, even though the magic that powered the barrier was linked to the Stone Circle, just like the magic that powered the school.

"Rosalind is creating interference at the Stone Circle, she's allowed the Burned Ones in, and now we have no power," she explained calmly. "I'm sure it's something to do with Bloom, I think she's trying to test her, and there's no way I'm letting her finish what she started, I have to find her!"

"No way, you're exhausted, she'll kill you!" he refused firmly, pulling her to him. "I don't want to lose you..."

"Neither do I, Saul, but because of her, we could all die," she murmured as she leaned her head on his shoulder, soaking up his reassuring scent. "I love you so."

He didn't answer, so torn was he. His wife was going straight to what would be her grave, and he couldn't bear it.
Screams of distress brought them out of their thoughts and they turned around.
Stella, Musa and Aisha were carrying a young man with a severe stomach wound, covered in blood, who was screaming in pain.
Immediately they rushed to their aid, only to see the horror.

"Shit, it's Sam!" exclaimed the Specialist, shocked. "Quick, we've got to get him to his dad!"

Her blood was still flowing, and the wound was so deep that the guts were almost visible, giving off a foul smell.
Musa, in tears, left her place to Saul, who carried him to the infirmary. The girl could not bear to see her boyfriend suffer, to see him die, because she knew he was going to die, like her mother, and to relive such an ordeal was insurmountable. She did not have the courage to enter the room when the couple settled the young man on a makeshift bed.

"Sam!" Terra shouted when she saw her brother lying bleeding. "Dad, come quick, there's Sam who..."

Her voice choked on a sob as she rushed to her brother, who was now exhausted and making only plaintive moans.
Her dad arrived a few seconds later, completely hurt.

"Oh shit, I can't believe it," he whispered, heartbroken, laying his hand on the teenager's. "Hang on, son. "Hang on, son, I'm begging you, I'll apply Zanbaq."

He nodded painfully, trying to obey him.

"Ben, I'm sorry, but I have to leave you, I have to go fix the power problem at the Stone Circle and restore the barrier before it's too late," Farah apologized as her friend tried to treat his son. "I hope the Burned Ones are destroyed in time."

"All right, be careful."

Farah walked out of the room followed by Saul and the two fairies, greatly affected by this unbearable scene.
Normally, the botany teacher would never have accepted that his friend was putting herself in danger, but the situation was so critical for his son that he was no longer paying attention and had barely looked at her.

"I'll go get Musa, he needs her," the young earth fairy decided.

Anxiously, she left her dad to look after her brother, hoping to see him alive again.
