George
Finally.
No more heat or rut medicine for me or my mate. I'm done with all that and couldn't be happier.
Speaking of happiness, we were supposed to return on Monday to our respective houses but ended up leaving only on Tuesday morning.
We texted our parents to explain the delay but fortunately since we're on break from school none of them offered any objections.
It's a good thing they all know how this goes.
They know about the pull from the mate bond. Especially so soon after completion. I dropped Liam off at the pack house and returned to mine.
I'm so glad we live close. That's a bonus I never even thought I'd appreciate it so much, but I do.
I mean, I have a car and wouldn't have a problem picking him up wherever. But I'm glad he lives so close to me. Even more happy that he gets a room for himself.😏
I entered my home and my parents welcomed me with warm hugs. They had just finished having breakfast. Charlie looks happy to see me too. I love my family.🥰
"I thought you'd be gone by now, dad. I'm glad I caught you still here." - I told him with a pleasant smile, after we're done hugging.
Because it's winter break, the breakfast is at a later hour than normal for a Tuesday. But my dad keeps regular business hours at his job and he doesn't get Holidays off.
"I asked my boss to come in later today. I wanted to welcome my mated son home." - Dad joked, to which Charlie giggled.
Alphas don't have a boss. HE is the boss. He only has administrative oversight by the Elder Council. But that is just bureaucracy.
"Good one. I've missed your dad jokes." - I smirked.
"Are you happy, son?" - He asked with a contemplating gaze towards me.
"The happiest I've ever been!" - I replied, smiling radiantly.
"That's all I care about. I can go to work fulfilled." - He spoke, grinning at me.
"Thanks, dad." - My eyes are twinkling with happiness.
My dad went to brush his teeth at the downstairs bathroom. Daddy and Charlie got to clear up the table and wash the dishes.
"I'm happy for you, Georgie. At least now you won't need any medicine and your father can relax." - Daddy opined, hinting at his mate's restlessness over my mating.
"Tell me about it, daddy! I hate medicine!" - I agreed enthusiastically.
"So, am I gonna be an uncle now?" - Charlie asked me with a mischievous grin. I gasped at his question.
"Charlie!" - Daddy reprimanded him with furrowed eyebrows.
"You tell me, I'm pretty sure I saw you sneaking Annie into a guest room at the pack house during my birthday party." - I shot back, dropping a bomb at my household.
My daddy's mouth is agape at this, shocked. But my dad...
"What?!" - He came over to the kitchen, literally with his mouth foaming he's so mad. He is still holding his toothbrush in his hand.
"Traitor! You fucking traitor!" - Charlie is beside himself angry (at me). Though not nearly as our dad.
"Language!" - Daddy chastised him, peeved.
"I cannot believe you pulled this stunt on me! You betrayed our trust!" - Dad yelled at him in a feral tone.
"Dad, stop berating me like any of you got mated a virgin! Neither one of you can judge me!" - Charlie defended himself in an aggressive manner.
