George
I'm in love.
For the last week or so, I had an absolute blast spending time with my mate. After we completed the bond, we've been having such a good time together.
Even after the fight with my brother, he's been there for me through thick and thin. And I'm loving every minute of it all.
Once Christmas passed, my dad lifted Charlie's punishment and he was able to see his girlfriend again. Though my dads worry about an unmated pregnancy - all parents do - both of them know it's no use shaming my brother because of it.
Besides, let's be honest here, he's hardly the only teen wolf who's having unmated sex. And I certainly am not one to judge him, even though what Justin and I had never went that far. I mean, close enough.😳
Still, it doesn't mean I got mated a virgin.
Anyway, now we're approaching New Year's. The Holidays break is almost over and I need to enjoy this time with my mate before school returns.
Because starting January, life will get much more serious for me. I will undergo Alpha internship with my dad and let's not forget I still have warrior training with Delta Underwood.
Junior will also start training under Beta Gutierrez, my uncle. But who said anything about this being easy? It's a giant responsibility being responsible for 20 thousand lives. And we can't take it for granted.
I drove to Junior's house to check in on him and catch him up on all my latest adventures.
He was thrilled for me completing the bond, finally. Also, I never had an opportunity to listen to him about his own completion.
We spent hours talking, catching up on all sorts of subjects. Honestly, I needed this more than I had anticipated. But I heard him attentively as much as I spoke, making sure I was there for him too.
He looked so proud as a mated man and I can finally relate to the feeling. He's happy with Trisha as I am with Liam. Speaking of his mate, he told me they're going to spend New Year's Eve together, breaking in the new year at her parents' house.
I found it to be very mature of his part. But home is wherever your mate is, I can certainly agree with that sentiment.
Any werewolf will tell you: we are family oriented creatures. Especially being country people raised in a small town, we tend to keep it homey and together with our family.
So I understand that because Liam only has his mom, he'll want to spend it by her side. But even if we break in the New Year at the pack house by ourselves or with the rest of their housemates, I'll be fine with it.
It's not about the location, it's always about the company we keep. And with him by my side, I'm good to face whatever, whenever.
The day before New Year's Eve. Liam's room. The afternoon after lunch. We're cuddle up on his bed together.
"I'm glad we're having this time together after completing the bond. Especially without school and everything else. I'm glad it's just us." - I commented, taking a big inhale of my mate's scent.
"It's funny how life is. We should've completed the bond a month ago at least. But I'm glad too, especially because now we get to spend this crucial time together." - He said, looking at me affectionately.
