Today i walked past a petshop i saw small puppies and parakeets. I didnt have ehough money to afford a pet yet.So i waved goodbye to the pets in the store feeling abit sad having a pet would be nice but i dont have money for a pet and besides i dont know what L or the taskforce would say. I walked the cold streets in deep thought until i noticed a brown cat. Sitting in the most polite way i could see the cat had tears in its eyes.So did i"hey kitty do you have an owner?"
you searched for a microchip or any sort of collar providing evidence of an owner.But none was found"You must be a stray then."The cat nodded like it knew what i was saying.Without thinking you picked up the cat and took it home. L's POV "Hello yn... What is that?" "A cat" she says smiling."Yn you know we cant own any pets at this time.""But he was abandoned cant we taken him in? he has no owner please L."I pause to think just thinking about returning the cat left my heart broken like someone throwing rocks at my heart. But not only would Yn hate me but i'd hate myself for making the cat and Yn upset. It was either welcome the cat with open arms or find it a new home. One cat shouldnt hurt the taskforce besides the cat looked polite and adorble i couldnt say no to either Yn nor the cat i was hypotized to say yes. "Welcome to the taskforce kitty" Yn and i cheered and hopped around in happiness welcoming the new very important taskforce member."Yn we need a name for our friend""What about Brownie?"I said "it sounds like a cute name to me" Yn watched the cat climb a chair and acidently fall.We both laughed"oh Matsuda" Yn replied "Matsuda?" i questioned "The cat being silly reminded me of Matsuda" "He seems like the adoreble clumsy polite yet silly type maybe we could nickname him matsuda?"Yn asked "as much as i dislike Matsuda i think nickname naming the cat Matsuda is ok but lets keep his real name to Brownie.""Great now Brownie needs a alias."Yn POV"L dont you think its abit too much for Brownie to have an alias.""Kira cant kill cats so why would Brownie need a alias?" i say questioning "Not that we know of Kira's power has many ways to kill controlling time of death and specfic death to name a few.""I dont want Brownie in danger the kira case gets very serious each day thats why i believe Brownie needs an alias. L replied in a serious tone."How about fudge?" "No it sounds too close to his name because fudge is almost related to Brownies How about Hazel?" "Sure now is it time for everyone to meet Brownie?" i wondered "Indeed it is" Me and L headed for downstairs "Everyone if we could get your attention please me and Yn have a special guest along with a story to share." The taskforce memebers all switched their attention to L and me. "This is Brownie also often nicknamed Matsuda like our Great cop/detective taskforce member Matsuda. Everyone awwed "You may be wondering why." "Because when we first welcomed Brownie he fell off a chair and we bursted out laughing as yn said oh Matsuda.""Thanks for naming him after me."Matsuda gave L a annoyed i hate you look on his face."Matsuda was abandoned a stray on the streets i found while walking past a petshop in a dark alleyway with dumpsters." i say proudly"Me and Yn would perfer if everyone used Brownie's alias Hazel this is for safety reasons we are unsure if kira has the power to kill animals so we'd like to keep Brownie safe." The rest of the day was calm everyone worked and often took breaks to play with Brownie.
