Gone

**Trey's POV**

It's been silent for a while but then Dani breaks the silence.
"What's that?" She says

"What?"

"There!" She points to something in the distance but I can't really make out what it is
"I don't know."

"Maybe it's a building!"
And then out of no where she starts sprinting off towards the thing in the distance.

Well I knew one thing.
I sure as hell was not running.
I laugh to myself and whisper
"Have fun"

My head looks up from the ground and slowly turns to the right and I see something.
Something blue.
I look back in front of me and see Dani still sprinting across the field and know that I will be able to get to the blue whatever before she gets to the gray whatever.
So I got for it.
"Hey! I'm gonna check this place out!" I yell at the top of my lungs before I start walking to the right.
It wasn't that long before I was standing in front of a giant blue house.
I scan the outside and find nothing so I decide to walk up to the front and just knock on the door loudly.
"Hello!?"

No answer.
I place my hand on the door knob and it creaks open.

I stand on the porch for a moment weighing my options before I pull my gun out of my pocket and hold it in my hand as I walk through the door.

It's an old house. I can tell by the furniture and how the floor creaks when I take a step.

It looks like it was abandoned before all of this started.
Great.

But I decide to check everything anyways.

Cabinets?
Nope

Drawers?
Nope

Under the couches? The fridge? The bathroom?
Nope nope and nope.

Grand.

Maybe Dani had more luck with her gray dot. I should probably go check on her.
A wave of fear rushes over me as I realize I just let Dani run off on her own.

I rush out of the house and spot the gray dot in the distance. I needed to get there as fast as I could. Well I guess I would have to run today...

(Hey guys!!! So let me know what you think about the story being told from other people's points of view! Dani is still going to be the main person but I just thought I would change it up. Also sorry about this chapter and the last chapter being so short I'm having a HUGE amount of writers block right now. Also thanks sooo much for almost 100 reads!!!)
