Love. A word so manipulated, so torn, yet stands so precious. I'm not sure if I've ever loved before. I'm not sure if many people who say they have, truly faced it. If they ever truly faced it, like I believe I have many years ago, when I saw the woman of my dreams. The woman I at first, didn't give much thought, but for some reason after time, I couldn't even shake the thought of her. I couldn't stop remembering her smile, her tiers, her anger. The good, the bad. None of it ever left me, not even to this day. Not even death will free me of this curse. Love. A word so manipulated, so torn, yet stands so precious.
In a beautiful green meadow, in the middle of spring with trees surrounding it as far as the eye can see, with a beach just a few yards away, where lies a peak with a tower watching over it all. The flowers were blooming, the birds were chirping, and waves oh so gently rushing its crystal beauty threw the fine sand. This was the place that my journey finally began.
Fierce grunts, followed by swords clashing, "rah, ha have you already given up Luke," as the man asked, trying to catch his breath.
"Ha ha, as if I would be done with you already, I'm just getting started," as he quickly shouts out at a rush to hit an opening, but misses.
Shortly after blocking the strike taking one last breath, "I'm glad to see that even after leaving, you're still amazing at finding my openings," shifting to the right quickly and landing a swift shot to Luke's leg and forcing him down with a single shove.
"But you still forget to watch out for your own,'' as he takes his breath and helps Luke back up to his feet laughing together.
"Hey, you know there are still people trying to sleep here you know?" as a man quickly walks down the path with two cups of water looking serious, but shortly starts to grin and laugh at the noisy two.
"Ah Edward, I was wondering when you'd wake up, you handsome devil," as Luke takes a cup and enhales the water.
"Aye I've been awake for quite some time cooking you and Dimitri here some breakfast," as he smacks Luke at the back of the head, handing Dimitri his water.
"Aw you shouldn't have. You know this pig here shouldn't eat so much, especially your cooken," Dimitri laughs aloud and sips his water.
"You know i'm not a pig. I may have picked up some weight, but I can still catch the girls, unlike you Sir," as Luke finally catches his breath from the water with a mad, playful face.
"Alright you two love birds, come on up with me, you can clean this mess up later," as Edward starts his way to the tower.
As they began to walk up the stair that bends its way up to the tower, you could see the walkway as it sat ageing over the years as grass grew all around it. The tower was on the very top of this hill that led towards the ocean. At the top, you could see the forests that surrounded them, as well as the mountains that were in the far distance.
It was a small tower, but it had everything you could have asked for. From 4 bedrooms, to a kitchen, and a small toilet room. It was made of worn down light gray stone, with some vegetation slowly growing over it. The floorboards were of old, dark oak wood with cracks all over. It wasn't the best, but as a temporary camp, it was good enough.
As the three enter, still laughing, the two men get a good wif of the smell as they see their last mate already helping himself to the food.
As they see, Luke yells with joy, but competitively, "hey, what do you think you're doing, you slick dog. Some of that belongs to me," as he rushes and the man starts to dash around the table with his plate of food and a spoon in his mouth.
"Maybe if you all stopped playing with one another, you would have got the first bowl," as he dodges Luke with a smirk, chuckling, trying to protect his food.
