Dimitri sitting there made him even more confused as ever before. He did not know who she was or why she was there, but more importantly why he kept feeling the strange feelings he felt coursing in his blood. The feelings he felt were different and uncomfortable, but they made him want to protect her with everything he had in him. Even though he knew very well that he couldn’t help her as much as she could herself, with that odd power that she holds within her small body. He couldn’t shake what he had seen, but he knows powers aren’t a strange thing. Although they aren’t unknown, they are extremely rare, but only usually are held and used by higher ups. So if she did belong to the higher ups, maybe to the Entity tear, why is she there? Why is she alone? And most of all, who is she?

As the hours began to pass, Dimitri still sat there not moving more than 10 feet from her side. Even though he may have wanted to go, to go and work on his mission, he kept feeling the need to protect her from anything that may come as she rests.

When it hit about 9 o’clock the next morning, Annabelle finally awoke to the sight of Dimitri sleeping on a bench that was next to the wall beside her. As she began to wake and sit up, her muscles ached and she kept moaning to the stress that her body was enduring.

As she tried to get herself to fully sit up, Dimitri awakened to the sound of her struggle and quickly went to her aid.

“Hey, hey slow down,” Dimitri says as he rushes to her to carefully lay her back down “take it easy right now, ok?”

Annabelle slowly gaining her conscious back, “ugh, where am I?”

“You're at the medical center, you fainted during the attack remember?” as he says, worried for her health.

“I remember, ah my head is killing me,” she says as she tries to rub her head in pain.

“Hey it’s ok, don't move. I'll get the doctor,” as he hesitantly begins to rush out the room to get a doctor to help her.

As he runs out of the room, he sees a doctor down the hallway and quickly runs to get him to help Annabelle. As Dimitri and the doctor begin to walk back to her room, they hear a loud crash in her room and they two sprint to her room, as well as two nurses. As they get in the room, they see Annabelle holding onto the table next to her, as she tries to stand to get to something.

“Oh god, Annabelle,” Dimitri yells as everyone panics to her assistants.

When they finally are able to get her back down safely, they start to see as she starts to have a seizure-like reaction. As the doctor and nurses do everything to help it go away, nothing works, until Dimitri realizes that Annabelle is pointing to her bag. He quickly rushes to it and looks thrown, almost immediately. He finds an odd rock, like a mechanical gem, and it begins to glow like the way her power glowed.

As he notices that that gem is what might help her, he rushes to her with it, “everyone move please, move, move,” he yells, determined to bring the gem to her.

He puts it close to her chest until it begins to make a strange connection from the odd rock to her chest, but doesn’t help. So he quickly presses the gem forcefully, but gently on her chest and it begins to shoot out a bunch of the light strings into her and she shoots up, catching her breath in relief. As she finally catches her breath and everyone is in relief from what happened or what could have happened, she looks at him in a bit of shock and quickly grips him in a tight hug.

For about two hours he sat by her side as they ran tests on her to make sure she was ok and was able to leave. Once it hit eleven o’clock they let her leave the Medical Center, but was told to take it easy. When the two finally leave the center, he looks at her as she gazes up to the sky while her pure skin shines.
She looks over to him and smiles as she gratefully says, “um, thank you Dimitri. Truly, I don’t know how I can ever repay you.”
