Lucia knew she made the right decision to tell Adrien her secret. He didn't tell anyone and offered to help her find a way to practice her power without anyone finding out.
If only she could tell him her other secret. Adrien told her not to tell anyone his secret. She couldn't admit to her big brother that she couldn't even if she wanted to.
She thinks her brother might suspect her other secret. She couldn't speak to anyone at school or in other places. It was like her mouth was glued shut. Her teacher thought she was shy or stubborn and not answering in class.
Papa would be disappointed in her if he knew. She could speak to Adrien and the other members of her household just fine. She loved to tell them about the things she learned.
She hated how she couldn't talk to Manon or any of Adrien's friends when they were so nice to her. She could at least interact with them unlike some of the people she worked with when she had to model.
She was currently in a car with Adrien and Kagami. She was nice and sometimes Lucia watched them fence. They were on their way to Juleka's houseboat for Kitty's Section's rehearsal. They were supposed to be practicing more fencing but it was fun being sneaky.
Lucia liked listening to the band and the band members were always so nice to her. Juleka and Rose were the cutest couple out of Adrien's friends. He told her that the two girls were best friends but he didn't even realize that Marinette had a crush on him. Adrien can be so silly.
Lucia went to hug everyone in the room while her brother and Kagami spoke to everyone.
"Hello there, Lucia, your heart song has such a joyful melody today. Excited to see our rehearsal?" said Luka when he got his hug.
Lucia nodded at the older boy. He was so cool and nice. She loved her brother more but she did think Luka would make a good big brother.
Alya let her sit on her lap and everyone watched as Marinette stammered and got tongue-tied. Lucia wasn't sure why the big kids didn't just say what they felt. It was so obvious that Marinette liked her big brother. Big kids always had to make things complicated.
Shouting came from above deck causing everyone to go check what was going on. Lucia had grabbed onto her brother because she had a bad feeling.
Jagged Stone was trying to convince Juleka's mom to play as his guitarist. "Looks like mom and dad are fighting again," said Luka softly. The others didn't seem to notice his statement.
Lucia watched the scene in amazement. No wonder Juleka and Luka were so talented with music. It was in their blood.
Of course, an akuma had to come and ruin everything. Luka got Adrien and Lucia to safety but she saw everyone get zapped by the akuma. She was in her brother's arms since she couldn't run as fast as the older boys. They hid in the sewers which smelled and went into one of the supply rooms.
Lucia knew her brother had to go save the day as Cat Noir so she helped by distracting Luka. She started crying and clung to Luka. Adrien had them hide in one of the closets and he said he would hide in another. Lucia made sure to cry loud enough so Luka couldn't hear Adrien leave the room.
"Shhh, it's okay Lucia," said Luka. He started humming to calm the little girl down.
It felt like ages before Ladybug came into the room. Lucia pretended to be asleep in Luka's arms. Once the older kids were out of the room, Lucia waited a minute to follow them because she wanted to see what was happening.
Ladybug handed a bracelet to Luka and a kwami flew out. It was a snake and he looked so cool. Plagg was still the best kwami in Lucia's opinion though. If Ladybug was Marinette, that meant she gave out miraculous to her friends. Lucia must know the other heroes and she was excited to think about which friend was which hero.
After what felt like forever to the little girl, ladybugs flew around fixing all the damage in the area. They flew around Lucia and she was teleported back to the houseboat.
Everyone seemed so happy and the people who could play the instruments were playing them and having fun. Lucia even found a violin on the deck so she started to play along with everyone.
Once Agreste children got home, Lucia happily told Natalie that Adrien was the best fencer ever. Gorilla kept it a secret that they were picked up from the houseboat and did not have fencing practice today.
"Adrien, Plagg, what was the snake's name?" asked Lucia when they were alone in Adrien's room.
"Such a sneaky kitten, to think you spotted Sass when Ladybug was trying to be so vigilant," said Plagg.
"Luka looked so cool as a hero but you are still my favorite hero, Adrien," said Lucia.
She hugged her brother tightly.
"So Ladybug liked your idea for Chloe," mentioned Adrien, "We are going to officially announce that she is retiring as a hero and have her change her hero name and costume so she can still help us."
"Hooray! After we finish our homework can you take me flying around the city," asked Lucia.
"I have patrol tonight but it shouldn't be an issue. If an akuma attacks then I'm taking you straight home though," said Adrien.
Lucia provided Plagg with some cheese and got him to dress up as she waited for her brother to finish his homework.
"Plagg, can you tell me about the other kwami? Do you miss your wife?"
"Tikki and I aren't married," replied Plagg.
Lucia giggled, "I never said Tikki."
Plagg sighed. He forgot how perceptive little kids could be. Humans couldn't hope to understand the way kwami viewed relationships. He had her sit down on the bed so he could tell her some stories of the kwami. She was an attentive listener.
After hearing about Nooroo and Dusuu, Lucia promised Plagg that she would help find them. She loved Adrien and Plagg and she was going to help them no matter what. When she was older she was going to be a hero like her brother and beat up Hawkmoth for being mean. The bad guys won't know what hit them.
