"Remember what I said. The Titans here have been here for centuries and don't take kindly to strangers. Don't say or do anything that will cause them to react." Malia says, walking us down a long, hot walk way.

"Why's it so hot?" Malik complained, pulling at his tank top.

I giggle at him before rubbing his arm.

"Well, it's a deeper part of the Underworld. It's supposed to be hot. You get used to it." Malia says, glancing over her shoulder.

Malik nods and looks over the ledge of the pathway, shivering at the bubbling lava.

"Maybe don't look down."

"I thought it wouldn't kill me because I'm, ya know, a hellhound." Malik says, staring up at Malia.

"It won't. Doesn't mean it won't hurt." She says, smirking at his wide-eyed expression.

I chuckle and walk towards the giant entrance door.

Two giant stone guards materialize, pointing sharp spears at me, eyes flashing a dark blackish red color.

"Intruders!!"

Malik growls and blurs in front of me, blocking them from touching me.

The giant guards step forward before freezing at the narrowed eyes of Malia.

"Relax. They're with me." She calmly says, motioning for them to lower their weapons.

The guards glare at us before doing as told, taking their positions at the door.

"What the hell, Malia?!" Malik yells, eyeing the glaring guards.

"My guards. They don't let anybody in or out that doesn't belong here or have my permission to be here." She explains, eyeing the guards on the right up and down.

"Why attack us then?"

Malia glances down at me, eyebrow arched.

"You don't belong here, nor do you have my permission to be here. I brought you here." She says, shrugging.

She turns back to her guards and waves in our direction.

"My hellhounds. They are allowed to be here. Do not necessarily allow them through the gates unless I give them a direct password, one of which you will know. Understand?" She questions the guards.

"Understand."

"Good." Malia says, nodding for them to open the doors.

The guards grunt and push the large doors open. A whoosh of hot air hits us dead in the face, causing Malik and I to cough.

Malia motions us to follow her in before she stops and looks at her guards.

"We won't be long." She says, nodding.

They reach in and pull the door shut, locking us in Tartarus.

Whoa.

I look around the large area, taking in the many cells and large Titans staring at us curiously.

I look up and notice the chains hanging from the purple and black ceiling. My eyes take in the lava river flowing beneath us. To my right is a giant cell holding, what appears to be, a ice Titan?

I watch as his giant frozen hand wraps around the bars of his cell, and his face comes into view, yellow eyes narrowed.

"Is that.."
