I don't own any of the Twilight characters or events
Highway flys past as the pack travels to, hopefully, their next destination.
I lay my head down on my pillow in the back of the bus.
Closing my eyes, I try and fall asleep even though I know I won't stay asleep long.
Fingers quietly gliding across a keyboard fill the large, darkly tinted bus filled with sleeping hybrids.
Mia runs a hand over her cheek, taking a deep breath.
Kira puts her arms behind her head and watches as the moon starts to set and makes way for sunrise.
Light growling and grunting fill the bus alerting to the two awake lycans of the pups growing hunger.
Kira pats her sisters arm, nodding towards a still dark field with grazing cows.
I slowly wake up at the bus coming to a stop.
"Why are we stopping?"
"Come on." Kira says, motioning for us to follow.
I stand up and sluggishly walk down the bus stairs.
"What are we doing?" Casey questions, rubbing the sleep out her eyes.
Kira smiles and leans down, kissing her mates forehead.
"You need to learn when your beast needs to eat." Kira says, rubbing her mates cheek.
"Ok, but where are we?" Shaun questions, stretching his taunt muscles.
"Use your senses." Mia says, wrapping an arm around Apollo's shoulders.
I watch as the pack closes their eyes, letting their beast take over.
Growling and snarling broke the silence of the early morning.
Mia, let's Apollo go and smirks.
"Eat." Mia says, nodding towards the unsuspecting cows.
The young hybrids blur off, instantly attaching themselves to the closest cow.
"That means you to kid." Mia says, glancing down at me.
"I'm not hungry."
"Go eat." Mia says again, a bit more authority in her voice.
Not enough to overstep her boundaries.
"What about you?"
"We're older. We don't have to feed as much." Kira says, scratching the side of her neck.
"Eat."
Mia sighs and chuckles. She meets my eyes and arches an eyebrow as my eyes darken into my beast.
Mia's eyes darken, and she rolls her eyes at me.
Kira grins, and her blue eyes turn white. She blurs off, attaching her teeth to a cows back leg.
"She's so weird."
I blur away, leaving a chuckling Mia behind.
"Ugh, I feel full." Malik groans, laying his head on my mop of curly windblown hair.
"Good. The more you feed, the older you get, and you can stay awake longer. Feed less." Mia explains, motioning for us to walk to the bus.
"We're old, so we don't have to feed as often." Kira says, squatting down for a sluggish Casey to jump on her back.
"How old are you?" Malik asks, wrapping his toned arms around my waist.
"110. I stopped aging at 25. Mia is 115, and she stopped aging at 25. Devon is 125, and he stopped at 26." Kira explains, holding her mate tighter.
