"Okay today I'll teach you the most important thing, the basics of a pistol, it's really important Taehyung. Using a gun is no joke" Taehyung nods at Yoongi.
Just yesterday, Jungkook had given him a semi-auto black AKA175 gun. He said it's quite good and easy to use, Yoongi himself said it's lighter in comparison to other pistols and good for a newcomer like Taehyung. Today, they were going to start training in an empty ground.
Yoongi had a small table with the gun set on the table along with the magazine and a small box of ammo. The gun was a shining pure black model, it kinda looked exactly like the type of pistol used in John wick.
"Alright hyung"
"The very first thing is to make sure your hand is not on trigger while picking it up, Tae." Yoongi said, signalling Taehyung to watch closely.
"Keep your index finger straight, that way while picking it up it's not on the trigger" Taehyung nods as he watches Yoongi pick it up, then tries to curl his index finger to show in no way it'll touch the trigger.
"Understand?"
"Understood" Taehyung nods, taking the gun, copying his stance. Yoongi nods at him, satisfied. He takes the gun back and near the magazine taps on a small round button.
"This button is the safety button, keeps your gun locked" Yoongi clicks the button and immediately hears a clink sound. "Heard that? It's locked now. Safe to clean or keep it under your waistband or something"
"The bullets are at two places. In the magazine, you can say it is the storage of bullets or rounds. And the other is in the chamber" Yoongi runs his hand at the upper part of the gun point. "Here, inside this" He pulls the gun back to show the chamber making the racer nod as he tries to absorb every detail.
"and you know what happens when you press the trigger. However make sure your hand is not touching the chamber cause it goes back from pressure and it can injure you. Keep your hands away from the upper part of the gun"
"Understood hyung"
"Good, now I'll show you how to load the gun and then we'll practise with how to hold the gun, aiming, and other stuff. It's pretty easy once you get the hang of it and all you need to do is perfect at what you're aiming. At start they give you earmuffs since the voice is pretty loud but we won't be using that"
Yoongi speaks casually as he pulls out the empty magazine, pulling the ammo box close as he starts to frantically speak and show how to load the magazine. He loads about one or two bullets and then lets Taehyung take the charge. It takes a few minutes for the racer to understand but he gets the hang of it sooner than Yoongi expected.
"Good, Now see. Once you have your magazine full. You put it in and hit the bottom. Make sure you do that while the upper part is starched - makes it easier to put the bullet load, that's all. You can do it normally as well. You just need to hit a bit harder" "Okay now stand straight, facing the target I have set. Let's keep only 5 metres distance for now. You need to make sure your posture is good. One hand under the handle and the other at the trigger- yes like this. Good, now fire when I say so-"
"Where do I have shoot thou-"
"For now just try to shoot anywhere on the target and then with time we'll perfect your aim" Yoongi says as he slowly steps away after correcting the racer's stance.
"Fingers on trigger, keep your attention clear." Taehyung nods, shaking his head to get rid of the strands of hair out of his way.
"Ok one... two... three"
"Shoot!" Immediately a loud bang rang in his ears, Taehyung flinched, eyes shutting and the bullet went far away from the target.
"Holy shit!" Yoongi chuckled at the remark.
