Jimin slammed his fist on the table so loudly the table rattled. A scream of delight leaving from his lips making everyone look at him. The pink haired male’s eyes searched for Taehyung’s and when they met he grinned.

“Ready to bring your sister home, Taehyung?”

“Is she… ?”

“Yes, she is” Taehyung’s eyes widened, his tears facing breaking into a broken smile as he ran towards Jimin so fast the male almost tripped.

He threw himself on Jimin, murmuring thank you over and over. “She really is?”

“Yes! Her face matches with a face from a video which is three months old. She's alive, Taehyung. She's alive”

Taehyung pulled away to wipe his face, trying to make himself look presentable. “Can I…. Can I see her?”

Jimin smiled, nodding his head he immediately turned towards his laptop, the sound of his fingers smashing against the keyboard echoing in the room as the rest made their way closer to the two male.

Jungkook hugged him from behind and Taehyung looked up at him, smiling in a barely restrained happiness. Jungkook smiled back at him, nodding his head as if telling the male that he wasn't dreaming, it was in fact true.

Taehyung knows she might not be found in a good condition, she might be going through hell at the moment but he couldn't ignore the fact that his sister was alive, the only family he had was still alive. The reality itself was enough.

If she was alive…She might be around 19…  Aera had a whole life to live, years to heal, years to spend with Taehyung, his brother, his family. Taehyung practically bounced on his step both from anxiousness.

“Taehyung” Jimin pulled him out of his thoughts, tugging on his hand to make the male look at the video.

It was the video of a ballroom party. Jimin zoomed towards an old man in a wheelchair, champagne in his hand as he chatted with someone. Next to him stood a girl in a white dress, timidly standing there with her eyes down casted.

She was skinny, very skinny. Taehyung could practically see her bones, her face was ashen as that of a corpse, dull and void of emotions. Tears pricked in his eyes as he realised she was his sister. She had grown up so much, her face so different from the one he remembered but he could still see the resemblance.

It didn't matter how much she has changed, how different she looked from the Aera he remembers, it didn't mattered. She was still his sister, his little Aera, his little monkey.

“I think she's his…” Dae-jung whispered, his words brought comfort to Taehyung. This was much better than what he had expected, it didn't ease him to the fullest since there were still chances of the old man abusing Aera, keeping her starved over small mistakes.

Still, it was better than what Taehyung had expected. This… he could work with this, she was okay…. If she was his caretaker it'll be easy to bring her back, it'll be easy to free her.

“Zolotoy…. Yoongi hyung….” Taehyung whispered as if asking them to look, to tell him that it was real. That he wasn't dreaming. Jungkook tightened his hold, nodding against him.

“I know baby… I know… that's my sister in law right?” Taehyung nodded, biting his lips to stop himself from sobbing.

“My second little one…” Yoongi whispered in awe and Taehyung smiled. Jimin smiled at  taking Taehyung’s hand in his own hands and gave it a squeeze.

“We'll bring her back alright??”

“Promise?” Jimin grinned.

“Consider it my pre-wedding gift. ” Taehyung chuckled through his tears. He turned his eyes back to the screen, which had started playing on repeat. Taehyung couldn't help but reach out to touch her face through the screen.
