When I get to the building where I live, I'm still feeling like I'm dreaming. I still can't believe that I signed a contract with a music company and that I'm going to work on my dream career.

My parents started crying when I told them, and I obviously couldn't stand it and cried with them! It was so nice to feel how proud they are of me... My mother always has such a strong and impenetrable posture and hearing the emotion with which she spoke to me filled my heart with love.

I enter the building and greet one of my neighbors as I call for the elevator. I eagerly want to get home and lie on the couch wrapped in a blanket while I speculate about the events that will take place tomorrow.

My plans went completely down the drain when I open the door of my beloved apartment and find a very excited Rachel, running towards me, who jumps on me and makes us both fall to the floor.

"Bitch!!! I told you!! I told you would make it! OMGGGG I told you! Do you know what this proves? That the decisions we make after drinking a bottle of wine are the best decisions in life!" The crazy girl I call my best friend screams in my ear, while I roll my eyes!

"Oh my god, Rach! I swear I adore you, but I just wish I could breathe a little, please! I don't think I'm a rug yet, but right now I feel like one!" I say while trying to control a laugh.

"Oh sorry, sorry! But I'm so excited! We're going to be famous! I'm going to listen to the lyrics you write and the melodies you write on the radio and I'm going to scream that I created you!" She says as she gets up.

"Oh, it's good to know that all my possible success is thanks to you". I reply sarcastically with another eye roll.

"Congratulations Mimi, I'm very proud too!" She says a voice in the room, and I notice that Zach is also in the room.

"Thanks, big boy! Sorry but I hadn't noticed you were here yet, but I feel like you realize that it was your girlfriend's fault because she is completely crazy."

"I know! It's okay." He says while laughing and Rachel complains that he agrees with me. "But then... Whom are you going to work with? And when do you start?" He continues.

"I'll start tomorrow... from what I realized this whole process had some urgency because the person I'm going to work with already has the team, musicians, and writers ready... But I still don't know who it is! My boss, I think I can call her that, said she would send me an email with all the information I'm going to need but I still haven't seen if I've received it.".

"So, what are you waiting for? Oh my God, Harmony! I swear you make me so nervous! I don't even know how I can deal with you!", tells Rachel as she hits me on the arm, showing her frustration.

"Ouch!" I complain. "I've been very busy, I don't know if you noticed... But I'm going to check that out now!", I say as I take my cell phone out of my wallet, at the same time I take the shoes off my feet because my heels are already hurting me.

Honestly, as strange as it sounds, I haven't given much thought to who the artist I'm going to collaborate with is going to be. I'm assuming it's someone I've heard of who has released at least one album because Bethany mentioned I was going to be part of an experienced team, but I feel like who the artist is, is secondary to me right now.

What I want, however, is for the person to be accessible and friendly, who is willing to listen to my ideas and share opinions... I hate feeling excluded and ignored and I really hope that doesn't happen!

I unlock the phone and open the mail app, which makes me nervous, strangely. I see that Beth has already sent me the information she had promised, and I open the mail, saying: "Okay... I have the information already!".
