And it's finally Friday! This week took months to go by... and it's not in a bad way, just a lot of things happened and because of that, I feel very tired.
During this week it was all the same routine, in the morning cleaning the house and preparing lyrics and melodies and, in the afternoon, heading to the studio, where I stayed almost every day until dinner time. In the end, come home, shower, have dinner, call my parents, and talk to Rachel until I fall asleep.
Yesterday was the first day I met Kid, and I can tell he's going to be joining us more often. I liked the way he works and the ideas he has but on a personal level, I didn't get to know him very well.
However, with Sarah and Mitch, we have created a great friendship! Even on the day that Sarah didn't come, Mitch and I continued to talk normally. It's very funny because Sarah is an extroverted person, who likes to stand out and talk and laugh out loud, and Mitch likes to be quiet and is very observant and mysterious but it's a lot of fun when he sends comments at the moments I least expect it.
Harry is a breath of fresh air! It's so easy to talk to him and come up with new ideas, say what you like and don't like... Most of the time I don't even remember he's a big deal in music. And, just this week, I can already say that he is very talented in the hidden work too... I already knew he was an exceptional performer but in the construction of the music and in the creative process he is just as good. Our relationship has been very work-based but I think we get along well, and I think I can say that I'm part of the team.
Today is the day I'm having dinner with Sarah and Mitch. Despite being really tired, I feel that a dinner with friends will be good for me to relax. Right now, I'm in front of my closet trying to choose a suitable outfit... I don't want anything too fancy because it's a dinner at home and it's just the three of us, but I don't want to wear a tracksuit either... I want something beautiful and comfortable.
I ended up deciding on a pair of baggy black pants, a green top, and a white denim jacket. I leave my hair simple and just apply a moisturizer on my face. I choose to wear sneakers the same color as the pants, and I hurry out of the house so I won't be late.

I get to the car and carefully put down the chocolate brownie I made and the flowers I bought for Sarah and Mitch. If there's one thing my parents always taught me, it's that when we go to eat at someone's house, the least is to bring dessert and it's mandatory to offer flowers. I opted for white lilies because I think it's a safe option.
I put the address that Sarah had sent me on the GPS and started the journey there. When I arrived, I came across a very beautiful house, where you can clearly see that they live there! It is a 2-story villa, with a vintage finish on the outside, a simple but well-kept garden, and an entrance door still decorated with Christmas lights.
