The next day, as the sun gently peeks through the curtains, I slowly open my eyes to find myself still embraced in Harry's arms. It's a comforting feeling, and I can't help but smile as he plants soft kisses on my head.
"Good morning, pretty," I say, my voice filled with warmth. He returns the smile and replies, "Good morning, petal."
We stay lying together for a while, enjoying the cozy embrace and the peacefulness of the morning. It feels so right to be in his arms, and I can't help but feel a sense of contentment.
Eventually, Harry suggests ordering breakfast from room service, and we share a meal. It's a simple act, but it feels special. We talk and laugh, enjoying each other's company over coffee and croissants.
As we eat, I find it amusing how affectionate we are being with each other. We don't kiss, but our gestures and the way we interact speak volumes. It's like we've become these lovey-dovey birds, showering each other with tenderness and care.
At this moment, I can't help but wonder what's truly happening between us. Are we just friends with occasional moments of intimacy, or is there something more? It's a question that lingers in my mind, but for now, I choose to cherish these sweet moments and let the future unfold on its own.
I can't help but gaze at Harry as he scrolls through his phone. He's engrossed in reading something, and it piques my curiosity. I lean closer, my brows furrowing slightly.
"What's going on, Harry?" I inquire, my concern evident in my voice.
He tries to brush it off, insisting it's nothing. But I know him well enough to sense when something is bothering him. I press gently, urging him to confide in me.
Reluctantly, he gets up and dials someone.
"Jeff, thank goodness you picked up. Have you seen the news? It's everywhere!".
"What's the plan, Jeff? How do we fight back?", his words tumbling out in a rush. My anxiety intensifies as I watch him speak urgently into the phone, completely disregarding my presence. Frustration wells up inside me, and I can't bear being ignored any longer.
"Harry!" I shout, my voice laced with frustration. "Please, just tell me what's going on!"
Startled, he finally ends the call and pulls me into an apologetic embrace. "I'm sorry, petal. I didn't mean to ignore you. It's just... something unexpected has come up."
Harry takes a deep breath, trying to gather his thoughts before speaking. "Jeff mentioned that there's been some false news circulating about us, Harmony. It's all over the media, and they're painting you in a negative light."
My heart sinks as I try to comprehend the gravity of the situation. "But why? What are they saying?"
Harry looks at me with a pained expression. "They're claiming that you're only after my fame and fortune. That you're using our friendship for personal gain. It's absolute rubbish, Harmony. I know it's not true, but seeing these lies spread everywhere... it just makes me so angry."
He shows me an article on his phone, and my heart sinks as I read the headline: "Harry Styles' new friend, Harmony James, wants his fortune." The words hit me like a punch to the gut, and tears well up in my eyes.
"This can't be true, Harmony," Harry says earnestly, his eyes filled with concern. "I promise you, none of this is real. You're not like those people. I know who you truly are."
I nod, my voice choked with emotion. "I can't believe they're painting me in such a terrible light. I've never wanted anything from you other than your friendship and support. I accepted working for you because this is my dream"
