'Are you okay?'
A frown spread over my face. For the last twenty minutes I have been watching Mirage, rubbing his chest. There was something wrong with him and whatever it was, he didn't want to talk about it. 'Yeah, totally. don't worry about it.' He waved his hand to dismiss it. 'I don't believe me...' He snorted and passed. 'Really, I am totally fine. Don't worry about it.' He would never admit he's in pain and I hated it. I let out a long sigh. 'Fine, don't tell me.' I turned around. 'Sia, wait.' He grasped my arm and softly yanked me back. 'I am fine. The check-up didn't point out anything concerning. It's just an error, that's all.' I didn't believe him, but nodded. 'Sure.' I turned around and walked off.
I couldn't really be mad for not talking to me. After all, it's none of my business. Sideswipe took a sprint. 'Sup?' He smiled and wrapped his arm around my shoulders. 'I'm fine. What's wrong with Mirage? Is he in pain?' Sideswipe looked over his shoulders and nodded. 'His spark hurts.' He shrugged and I stopped walking. 'His spark? He said he was fine. He should see Ratchet—' Sideswipe cut me off. 'And he did. If he wasn't fine, Ratchet never would've released him, remember? Relax, let him handle it on him own.' I sucked in a breath. There was no other option but accept it. 'Why does he have these pains?'
'Confidential.'
I snorted. 'But you know. Did he tell you?' Sideswipe bit his lip. 'It's a mech thing... unspoken rule. I'm sure you femmes have unspoken rules.' I raised a brow. 'A mech thing?' I repeated, almost in a mocking manner. 'Yeah...' I snorted and passed him. 'I'm not joking. It's something I can't talk about and I'm sure he doesn't want me to talk about either.' I rolled my eyes. 'You know... Mirage is still higher placed then you are—' I swiftly turned and he bumped straight into me. 'That's just absolutely ridiculous to say. Fine, don't tell me but stop bothering me then.' I turned around and marched off.
((Dino's P.O.V))
'What did you tell her?'
Sideswipe shrugged. 'Nothing. That's the entire problem. She's not stupid and all you do is rubbing your chest. Do yourself a favor and lay down. Take a nap and for Primus sake, think about something else but Sia.' He walked off. I sighed. Annoying, but he was right. Ratchet told me to take some rest too. 'Ironhide?' The said mech perched his head up. 'I need to lay down. I'm not feeling well, can you ask Jazz to take over?' He frowned but took my papers. 'Have you seen Ratchet.' I rubbed my chest again. 'Yeah, I did.' It was all I said about it before walking off.
I was so glad to be in my room. The voice were gone the moment I shut and locked the door. I kicked my shoes aside while walking over to my window. These spark aches are making my life hard. Piles of paper work made it almost impossible for me to just lay down and take a nap without thinking about it all the time. I shut the blinds and undressed so only my boxers remained on. I was out the moment I laid down and closed my eyes.
I was awoken by a soft touch and a sweet smell. It felt like I was still dreaming. 'Cassiopeia?' I looked over my shoulder. My spark responded on her touch. A horrific pain shot through my spark like a knife. 'I just wanted to make sure you're okay.' Frozen in place, I forced a smile on my face. If I allow myself to surrender to my needs, a bond will form and that will hurt even more.
She cupped my chin before lifting my chin. Her soft, warm lips pressed on mine. It was like a flame lit up. 'Cassiopeia!' I tightly grabbed her wrists. Maybe a little too hard. She seemed to be shocked from her own action. 'You can't do that!' She tried to get up, but I didn't let go. Scared that if I do, she will flee and vanish in thin air. The pain subsided. She was my drug. She causes the pain, but also make it go away.
'I'm sorry. I'm so sorry— I wasn't thinking...'
She looked away. What am I going to say. My spark was beating like crazy. She actually liked me. My head however, refused to give in. I need to stay rational. 'Don't make it happen again.' I finally let go of her wrists. She jumped up and dashed through the door. My eyes fell on the nightstand. She made me a fruit salad and several snacks beautifully displayed on a plate like a chef cook in a five star restaurant would do. Even she got me my favorite drink from Starbucks.
I sat up and leaned against the headboard,— placing the tray on my lap. Now I just felt bad. Cassiopeia obviously knew I hard barely eaten the last few days and made me something so delicious, I just couldn't resist the urge. Perhaps if I hadn't been a jerk, she would've joined me. I'm an idiot.
After finishing eating the food she gave me, I searched for her. I think she was abiding me at this point. My scans pointed out she had just sneaked out of the hanger and joined her group for a training session. Probably not a good moment to watch. She'll be nervous and get hurt.
'Do you feel better?'
'Yeah, much better...' I lied. Ironhide patted my shoulder. 'You've never been good at lying, kid.' He handed me my documents back. 'Yeah... I know. I'm doing better than before, let's put it that way then.'
'Still a lie...' he cooed before passing to catch up with Ratchet and Jolt. He knows me too well. I ran my hand through my hair. She kissed me out of the blue, surprised me with a tray full of snacks, attempted to cheer me up and I completely ruined it...
