Chapter 15: hurt feelings

The next day, I spend my time at home, cleaning up while taking care of the dog for that day. I wore a sexy strappy bra summer bage halter top Seamless Lingerie Tanks, with shorts. It was something I would never wear on the base, but it was so hot.

I heard a knock on the door, I expected it to be our neighbor for a package which was delivered this morning, but my jaw almost dropped as I saw Mirage. His eyes traveled over my body making me blush a deep shade of red.

"That's so hot..." was his first comment. "Ehm... thanks," I sheepishly said. "Just curious, if you knew I would come... would you still wear this?" He asked. "Probably not," I replied while stepping aside to let him in. He had a huge smirk on his face, which didn't fade away.

"I didn't expect you to be here so early! cause if I knew... I would have grabbed a normal tank top!" I muttered. Dino smirked and looked at me again "and that's what I'm gonna do..." I sulked. "You don't have to do it for me!" He said with a grin. I looked at him "I've seen it... and I probably safe that image in my processors... but if you want to... hide in a warm tank top... then go ahead!" He said challengingly.

I sucked in a breath and hoped off the last stair "but you're still my superior..." I muttered under my breath. "True... but we also have a friendly relationship, so... it doesn't really matter!" He simply said.

I nodded faintly and stalked over to the living room. My dog jumped up and stalked over to Dino, sniffling and moving her tail fast. "Nice dog!" He said as he sat on a chair and stroke her head. "It's a Rhodesian ridgeback... Lika," I said. He hummed and kept rubbing her head "you have a cat too right?" He asked I nodded and pointed outside "Yup... that's Bob, my red Burmese," I sighed as I looked at him.

"I love human pets," he said before he got up and walked with me outside. "You never said you had a pool!" He said. I looked at it, this house was similar to the house of the Witwicky's, but I had a pool and a huge garage. He looked down at the cat who looked at Dino with his big yellow eyes.

He stroked his head and smiled "so soft" he muttered. "He's the sweetest cat ever! But... he's bold sometimes," I grinned. "So are you!" He replied making me blush a deep shade of red. "I'm not bold!" I sulked. He turned towards me and grasped my hips making me blush again. 

"Yeah you are," he chuckled. I rolled my eyes "are you staying?" I asked as he let go of me. "If you allow me to stay... then yes," he said. "Mearing spoke to me this morning," he began. "Ahh... and!?" I asked. "She's wasn't subtle," he grunted.

"But you told me more than she did! I'm sure she wanted to hurt your feelings," he said. I shrugged my shoulders "that's how she is... I can't change it so I try not to feel bad about it! It's not worth it," I sulked.

"But it gives me a bad feeling..."

I looked at him "why!? She's the biggest... devil in the world! She will always try to hurt your feelings or mine..." I said. Dino got up and sat me down on a launcher, sitting down next to me. "Yeah... but I've to find the one who betrayed you and left you for dead! She could at least try to think of how you would feel! And I told her that!" He said.

I blinked in surprise "really!? You shouldn't have done that!" I shyly said. "You're too sweet and shy to stand up for yourself! So I did it for you! Just like you stand up for me last week!" He stated.

"Thank you, Mirage!" I said. He kissed my head "and she pissed me off with her answer, so I stormed off," he added on. I smiled weakly and locked my eyes with his.

"But anyway... do want something to drink?" I asked. He nodded and smiled "yeah... water is fine!" He said. "Unless you have cola!" He said with a big smirk. "Of course I have that!" I said before stalking over to the kitchen.
