Younger Kaiden's POV
"Come on!" Our mother says, leading me and my little sister Kara to a ship.
I see our father setting it up. He turns to us as we run up, "Your pod's coordinates are interlocked with Kal-El's. You will follow him to Earth." He says to us.
"We're not afraid, Father." I tell him making him and Mom look at each other.
"The trip is long but you'll sleep most of the way and we'll be with you in your dreams." Mom says as Dad walks off, I feel a tear go down my face. "You'll journey to Earth to look after your baby cousin, Kal-El. Because of the Earth's yellow sun, you'll have great powers on this planet. You will do extraordinary things."
"We won't fail Kal-El or you." Kara says and I nod in agreement.
Mother stands and kisses both mine and Kara's foreheads. "I love you Kaiden and Kara." Mom says, I smile at her sadly.
Something explodes. "You must go, now." Mom says and pushes Kara towards the pod but I don't budge.
"Mom." I say sadly and she smiles at me.
"It's okay, honey." Mom says and I smile at her sadly before hugging her tightly and quickly pulling away, getting in the pod first with Kara squeezing in next to me, half on top of me.
The last thing I remember is a big explosion before me and Kara fell into a deep sleep.
Next thing we knew, we woke up on Earth and Kal'El or Clark as he liked to be called, was already grown up and was Superman. But me and Kara were still 18 and 13.
He placed me and Kara with the Danvers family, who helped him understand his own super abilities.
"I know I'm not your mom. But you're safe here." Eliza told us when we first met, I smiled at her.
Kaiden's POV
I snap out of my flash back as me and Kara rush through the streets of National City, trying to get to work.
"Sorry, Sorry!" Kara calls as we hit people.
After all, Earth already had a hero. They didn't need us so we could be normal people.
I'm now 29 and Kara is 24, we've been on Earth for 11 years.
I went to College and graduated in 2 years, finishing my classes easily with my knowledge from Krypton.
Anyways, me and Kara both work for Cat Grant. The Goddess herself, I smile just thinking of her. I have a massive crush on her even though, I've only spoken to her once.
I snap out of it when Kara speaks into her phone, "I need two tickets in the orchestra section for Wicked." Kara says, "No, not for Miss Grant." Did I forget to mention Kara's her assistant and teases me all the time. "Her mother wants to see it. Yes, again. Sure, I'll hold."
I chuckle as we walk across a small bridge, Kara glares at me, "Charlie? I'm calling about the Correspondents Dinner, I need to make sure Miss Grant doesn't end up next to Bill O'Reilly again."
We walk into Cat Co and get on the elevator.
My bestfriend Winn meets us as we walk out, "Did you see this? There was an armored car robbery last night. There we no witnesses except for this homeless guy who swears the perp had horns." Winn fan girls and I chuckle.
"Thanks." Kara takes a file from her co worker.
"Like, on his head!" Winn says, me and Kara chuckle. "I'm telling you, they're out there. Aliens!"
"Winn, there's no such thing as aliens." Kara says and I nod in agreement.
Winn chuckles, "Well, you might feel differently if you read this website." Winn says, I smirk.
