𝐒𝐎𝐌𝐄 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐂𝐎𝐁𝐘 𝐇𝐀𝐃 always known that she would end up in jail. after everything that had occurred after her brother had went missing, it was clear to see that she was capable of many things. so after getting arrested many. . . many times, the assumption that she would actually go to jail one day was always at the back of her mind. but the thing is, that assumption had suddenly disappeared during the events of the summer. between finding out her feelings about a certain blonde girl and thinking about the possibility of her anther friends becoming rich, the thought of her rotting in a jail cell had completely vanished.
but now that she was dressed in an orange jumpsuit with cuffs around her wrists and ankles, the thought was coming back. she was stood next to john b, the routledge boy also dressed in an orange jumpsuit with cuffs around his wrists and ankles. they were in a court room, at their trial. half the town was sitting behind them, including the pogues and the cameron family. ward cameron was somewhere in the crowd, a satisfied smirk on his face as he looked at the two teens.
the last 24 hours had been absolute hell both pogues, the both of them getting put into the system along with getting their mugshot taken. but that wasn't the bad thing. because a lot of the deputies believe that the two of them were police killers, they had been treating the two teenagers like absolute shit. coby had bruises scattered along her body because of what the deputy had done to her when arresting her. but there were some new ones forming on her face, thanks to the same deputy. she also had to get her stitches wrapped up since they started to bleed again. a part of her knew that this was happening because of the fact that she had been framed for a murder she didn't even do. but she also knew that this was happening because of the color of her skin.
