Serenity's Pov

I laughed excitedly as Jace and I ran like hell outta the restaraunt, a mob of rich peole glared at us with desires for our extermination; I was too happy to get mad. How crazy is that? I have the worst temper! Jace brought out the worst and best out of me; I was utterly shocked when he asked me to be his girlfriend and I was more than happy to say yes. Being with him was amazing, he was funny, an idiot and crazy but I loved that. Oh...look at me getting mushy.

Gross. But screw it. I'm having fun.

"Wanna go somewhere else?" Jace asked, energetic as ever; before I could reply he was already dragging me toward the parking lot.

"Sure." I replied flatly; we were passing the Luxor casino and it looked like fun but also disgusting. Smoke invaded my nostrils and I scowled. I pointed to a lady who was practically orange and was smoking artogantly; she turned to me and raised an eyebrow. I slid my hand across my throat and pointed at the cigarette saying 'smoking will kill you'. She scoffed and took another drag; I shrugged, her life, her death.

"Where?" I asked Jace, looking back up at him.

"Its a surprise." He smirked. We arrived at the parking lot and he opened the door for me again.

"This again?" I questioned while raising an eyebrow.

"Let me be a gentleman for my girlfriend." Jace muttered and shoved me into the car, causing me to fall on my ass; he shut the door and walked around to the driver's side.

"Yes, that was such a gentleman thing to do." I said flatly and he smirked; driving out of the parking lot.

"Your fault you wouldn't listen to me." He sang, I had the urge to hit him, but felt the need to wait for when he wasn't driving; I didn't want to the die. So I satified myself by muttering a curse and rubbing my hands on the window to dirty it. He glares at me and I could tell he was restraining himself from arguing with me;

for that would only provoke me more.

Jace had been driving for almost two hours now, the Vegas lights were gone and we were in the desert. I frowned, guessing we were lost or he brought me here to kill me.

"Are you lost...idiot?" I asked nicely and he looked away.

"No..." He muttered hesitantly. I looked at the random wooden houses in the middle of nowhere and came to a desicion.

We were screwed.

"Let me drive." I insisted, but he ignored and kept driving around mindlessly." Jace, let me drive." I said with less patience. That is when I noticed his eyes were red and his head was droopy, as if it weighed too much for his neck to support.

Well he does have a big ego...

However, I knew he was tired; I looked at my phone, shocked to see it was about to be two a.m. Jace must have driven for much more than just two hours. I looked back up to see a coyote in front of us and Jace was going to run over it; I screeched and grabbed on to the steering wheel. Jace jumped as if waking up as I took a sharp right; from the shock Jace pressed his foot on the gas pedal and we couldn't stop.

We both cursed as we saw a big shadow approaching us, it looked like a tree. This time Jace grabbed the steering wheel and turned left. He removed the foot from the gas pedal but the car still accelerated and we headed straight for what looked like a giant box.
