Serenity's Pov

The music was pounding, the walls shaking, beer was at every corner. Blake convinced everybody to go to this stupid party by some actress that he thought was hot.It took a while to wash off all the synthetic blood. It was worth it though.

 Jace was happily eating all the chips next to me on the couch. Freckles refused as soon as we asked him, I didn't blame him...I had to come to keep an eye on Liz and most likely be the designated driver. Usui was mature, but with Liz he let himself go. They were both laughing and dancing; a few drinks here and there.

I'm going to say right now, I don't drink. Maybe on holidays, but not at parties. Especially one where people are practically having sex on the dance floor.I would be having fun, if Jace wasn't following me like a lost puppy.Well no I probably wouldn't, the music sucks, the people are annoying and I'm sure in any time the popo is gonna arrive.

I munched on a chip and waited desperately for the cops to arrive, where is James when you want him?

"Cheer up Serenity! Enjoy the party!"Jace exclaimed, making his nacho chip dance in the air. The sad thing is, Jace doesn't drink either. He's an idiot at heart.

"Jace, we both know this party sucks." I said and he chuckled.

"Yeah, that's true. The music is crap. They need to play the Beatles."Jace commented with a smile. My jaw dropped open.

"You like the Beatles?"I was shocked. I loved the Beatles, yes I was a screamo junkie but the Beatles rocked!

"Duh."He rolled his eyes, popping another chip into his mouth."Paul's vocals are awesome!"He said, pieces of chips flying from his mouth.I scooted away from him.

"Gross Jace."He smiled and more chips toppled out of his mouth."How do girls like you?"I asked in disgust and he grabbed my waist to pull me closer.

"I dunno,you should know.You like me don't ya?"He smiled smugly and I pushed myself away from him.Yeah, I liked him but I didn't want to admit it. Yes we've kissed twice and I don't want to say I regeret it...It just felt like everything went by fast.We've only been here for a week and two days and I'm dating a guy,oh and kissing him.I felt a little slutty.

"I'll take the silence as a yes."Jace smirked and I frowned.He pulled me onto his lap."This is why you're my girlfriend."He smiled smugly,my frown deepened.
