Chapter 12
Jace's Pov
"Now that you're here let's talk."I state calmly,but on the inside my nerves are jumping everywhere.I wanna have the "Talk" with her,because the kiss freakin' amazing,Its gotta be the best one in my life.I need her as more than a friend now,I just can't stop thinking about the kiss.I don't know if I'll be able to restrain myself any longer,I know it's only been about two days but Serenity is just irresistable.
So as I straighten myself up and walk to her,Im semi-ready to spill my guts out.I stare into her creamy brown eyes and open my mouth.I can feel sweat start to form at my forehead and my hands go clammy.What the hell is wrong with me!Usually I'm a cocky douche!
"Serenity that was the best kiss I've ever had and I can't stop thinking about it.Not just 'cause I'm horny dude,but I really li-"Suddenly I'm tackled to the floor from behind,my cheek and stomach smack onto the floor.I hear a deep laugh and I curse.Dang it Zelliot!You gotta be kiding me,I was so freakin' close to telling her!I look up and see Serenity staring at me wide eyed,right before she bursts out laughing along with Zelliot.
I get up angrily and glare at Zelliot."I'm going to kill you Elliot!"I shout loudly.
"I'll be back.I'm just going to massacre Zelliot,then we cab talk."I say to Serenity in a rush and she laughs in return.I quickly turn toward Zelliot and attempt a tackle,but he turns abd runs for his life.It won't do him any good 'cause honestly I'm gonna kick his butt.He just ruined that moment.
I chase after him and reach for his shirt,but he speeds up."Elliot get your butt over here!"I yell exasperated.
"Its Zelliot!"He hollers behind his shoulder.I smirk and speed up.I fling myself at him and I land on his back.He face plants onto the casino floor and groans.
"Gotcha you annoying prick!"I shout triumphantly,but when I look down it's not Zelliot.What the hell?
"Oh hey James...."I trail off nervously.He looks up and looks at me with pure hate.
I'm.So.Screwed.
