Chapter 4

I hear my mom in the kitchen cooking dinner.
When i walk in i see my mom reading, Soon my mom notices me. "Hey sweetie. Can you sit down we need to have a little chat"

"it's about what happened at school with you Skylar. " as soon as she said that I tense up... Shit what did she hear

"Mom is this about my detention today?"

"Yes Skylar and it's also about how you skipped most of it with three boys to do reckless stuff around school "

"Mom I didn't skip I left to have some fun!"

"Skylar do not yell at me!"

"Whatever mom I'm tired of arguing just give me my bloody punishment already!!"

"Skylar Wilson!!! Don't speak to me that way!! Your grounded for a month!!"

"BLOODY HELL MOM A MONTH?!?!"

"YES A MONTH!! NOW GO UP TO YOUR ROOM BEFORE I TAKE YOUR PHONE TO!!"

I groaned and stomped out of the kitchen and walked upstairs. When I got up I saw a picture on the wall of me, my mom, my bro, and dad.... Haha when we were 'perfect'

I ignored the screams of mother and went in my room and slammed the door and locked it. It was just one dam detention! Bloody hell it's not like i killed a girl!!

The next morning was Saturday. Thank god. I went to get some coffee when i sae my mom drinking some staring at something out the window.

"Skylar look! We're getting neighbors!" She basically squealed with excitement. I mean no one's lived in the house next to mine for 3 year. Now someones moving it, it's kinda a big deal. I looked out the window with my mom like creeps we are. I saw a tall male probably in his 40's and a kinda tall but short skinny lady in around her early 30's maybe. They were with a small little girl probably 5 or so and also a tall teenage boy who was blond and fit. He was pretty hot. He kinda looked like Jack but he had blond hair and looked a lot kinder, soon after him i saw Jacob and Jack....
Oh dear gondi the Shepards are my new neighbors. I don't know if i should be excited or scared. After staring at Jack my mom noticed and nudged me. "Ooo he's cute. Do you have a crush already?"

"What ew no" i lied

"Sweetie I can tell you think he's attractive. I mean if I was younger I'd think so too. Your not 10 you don't gotta lie"

"Mom leave it be. He's the school bad ass i don't like him" i lied again hoping she'd just drop it which she did. Thank god she did.
