Makoto walked into school again today, smiling happily. "Ah, good morning Fukuda-senpai." Akito says in a polite tone, what a nice student.

Makoto greets him back and walks to her class, "Oh, Makoto. The faculty called you down, but I don't think you're in trouble." Misaki says.

Makoto rushes down to the faculty room, "Someone said that someone called me down..?" she says, peeking in the room.

"Yes, Fukuda-san." the vice principle says, with two other teachers on his side. "So Yuuta-san here says that you took an important essay."

"Essay? Yes, I did take it.. to edit because she needed clarification that it was good. Yuuta asked me to..?" Makoto says, bowing slightly.

"Well, that's not the case to Yuuta-san. She says that you took her essay by hand and ripped it up, have you been bullying for weeks?" he holds up the paper shreds of what was known to be the essay.

"But sir-"

"Did you know that essay was worth 50% of their grade? You're a smart student, you should know how much 50% is." he says in a condescending voice. Makoto looks up at Yuuta, she has this fake, upset pout on her face.

Makoto glares her down, "I didn't, sir."

"Those are just words, how do we know if you're not lying?" he asks, "How do you know if Yuuta isn't lying?" Makoto responds.

"Yuuta wouldn't, and I think you know that." he says.

In the end, Makoto didn't want to bicker with the principal and had to take detention.

For the whole day, it felt gloomy. Makoto was social but inside she felt really upset, why would Yuuta lie about that?

Rui noticed this behaviour but he didn't do anything about it, just silently watching her.

When the day was over, it was pouring heavily outside. If only Makoto had prepared, an umbrella opened beside her.

It was Akito, "Oh, Akito-kun. Bye." she smiles at him. "You don't have an umbrella though." he says, then grabs her hand and pulls her under his umbrella.

He looks at her tired expression, "Are you.. upset?" he asked. Maybe that was the breaking point for Makoto, her eyes swelled up and her lips started to quiver.

"Hic.. Yuuta.. she lied." Akito stopped in his tracks and listened to her.

"Uh.. uh-huh.." Akito mumbled, in times like this he didn't know what to do or say. All he could do is be there and pat her back.

"She- hic- she lied to the principal.." she said in between hiccups.

She wiped her eyes and slapped her face, "I'm fine." Akito looked at her weirdly, "how the hell- how do you just, get over that?"

"I just do?.." Makoto laughs softly, her eyes are a little red from crying.

Akito glances to the side, unsure of what to do. "Uhh.. wanna get ice cream?.."

The clouds were really heavy and it was pouring, which made the class dark and gloomy.

While Yuuta was working on homework, Rui slid open the door to the classroom. "Oh, hi Rui-kun! Forgot something?" she gleamed, smiling.

"No, actually. I wanted to talk to you about something." he said, looking serious.

Makoto Fukuda fact!

Makoto doesn't like crying because she thinks it makes her weak, but when someone else cries she'll be there for them.
