Therapy: Part 1

Before reading this, I want you to know that this chapter is important to me, meaning I'm putting my all into this. I shed some tears, gad my doubts, but I'm publishing this and I want everyone to be kind. I've never seen a therapist (psychologist) but writing these books are my therapy.

Now, when reading you will see a new name, a new character that will be important to Jamie West and her life. Kinsey Locke. If you know this name then you've watched Locke & Key on Netflix. If you haven't it is a great series. Now if you have, everything you know doesn't exist her. In another universe, of course but in this one, NO. But there is something, that I'm willing to keep, but you'll have to read and find out. No spoilers.

Day 1:
Today was the day for new beginnings. Today was the day Jamie West started packing up her belongings, for a move that everyone knew was gonna happen. Jamie West was moving to Keystone City in her childhood home, her, Wally and her mom, Francine moved into when the divorced happened. Francine didn't want to rent a home, she she bought a home that was newly built, a home she wanted her kids to raise their kids and so on.

The house was originally given to both Wally and Jamie when Francine died, but Jamie decided Wally should enjoy it when they were older. When Wally died, he left it to Jamie. I know what your thinking, why didn't Francine also leave the house to Iris. Well, Iris stayed with Joseph West, their father. And Iris wasn't really in Keystone like Jamie and Wally was. Iris didn't see that as her home. But their dad did give Iris her childhood home, when he moved out.

Anyway when Wally died, Jamie didn't feel like it was time to move into the house, so she rented it out to people who was out of town. But now that she's been through more than anyone in six months, hell the past year, she knew it was time.

Now today is also the first day, of Jamie's appointment with a psychologist. Kinsey Locke. Since returning back home, she heard a lot of great think about Dr. Locke. But the best part was she is also a meta-human. She could possibly understand what Jamie is going through. Well, the plan is therapy every day for three months. Why three months? Well, in three months, the Jamie West and Hunter Zoloman child will be born.

Of course, the baby father is a secret, that is known between family like the Wells, and the West-Allen, and also, the doppelgängers on Earth-1., so no spoiling. Just kidding. Kinda.

"So you're ready?", Jesse asks.

"Yeah. No. I mean, what do you talk about?", Jamie asks.

"Anything", Jesse says. "She's supposed to be great, and she's a meta-human. I think being with someone who is like you, should really help".

"I hope. I need to be better for my baby", Jamie says, putting her hand on top of her baby bump.

"And you will. Me, my dad, Iris and Barry. We all will be there to help you. You won't be alone", Jesse says.

"When you're ready just let me know", Kinsey says.

Jamie continues to look around the room, unsure what's supposed to be said.

"You know you can talk about whatever", Kinsey says. "It's easy to feel like you need to talk about deep or serious issues here. Some people come to therapy to talk about depression or anxiety. But according to healthline, "people are going through a life transition and want someone to talk with and help them cope with change. People talk about everything in therapy. Their hopes, dreams, fears, disappointments, hurt, shame".

"I want to be able to talk about everything, but it's hard", Jamie says.

"When you booked this appointment, I seen you booked everyday for three months. Why?", Kinsey asks.
