It's now 7 months since Jamie West found at she was pregnant buy the love of her life, who quickly became the man she hated most in all the multiverse. But deep down, through all that happened, she still feels the love he has for him. No matter how much she talks about him in therapy, she hates it. Maybe it's her baby. Maybe the love she has for him is added for the love she has for the human life currently living inside of her.

Whatever it, it's definitely not for the reasons she's in the hospital right now. Jamie woke up with sharp pains near her stomach and back. So she called 911 once she was able to do so.

Once arrived at the hospital, she knew she couldn't go to Central City Hospital where's she's normally treated, so Keystone Hospital had to do.

"Ms. West. You and your baby is perfectly fine", Doctor Grey says.

"Any ideas on the sharp pains?", Jamie asks.

"Normally, sharp pains can sometimes mean a miscarriage", Grey says.

"Wait, what-".

"But in this instance, your baby is alive and well. As we seen in the ultrasound, it's kicking and moving", Doctor Grey says. "Sometime if not a miscarriage, we would call this ligament pain (often called "growing pains" as the ligaments stretch to support your growing bump) – this can feel like a sharp cramp on one side of your lower tummy...constipation – which is common in pregnancy. Even though you are meta-human, it doesn't look like your pregnancy is any different then those who don't posses power".

"Okay. I'm sorry. It's my my first kid and I'm doing this alone, and Im scared im gonna mess this up", Jamie says.

"No. You are fine. The clinical prenatal vitamins for meta-humans have been a blessing. It's working, and as long as you keep your diet and maintaining your stress level, your baby boy or baby girl will be happy in two months", Doctor Grey says. "Now, I called a few numbers on your emergency contact, and one answered, Tracy Lin".

"My boss in Central City. I work at Venus Labs", Jamie says.

"Yes, well, Mrs. Lin answered but unfortunately she couldn't make the drive, so she said a friend who was already in Keystone could come and get you", Doctor Grey says.

Jamie looks at the doctor in confusion, then quickly at the person who walks into the door.

"Oh, hell no", Jamie says.

"Do you know this man?", Doctor Grey asked.

"No", Jamie says, the same time Merlin Thomas says, "Yes".

"We work together", Merlin tells the doctor. "Merlin Thomas".

"Doctor Grey", she says. "Well, Ms. West you are free to go, just remember what I said".

"I will. Thank you", Jamie smiles.

The doctor leaves the two in the room, and Jamie smiles quickly fades, as she looks at Merlin.

"You don't look happy to see me", Merlin says.

"What gave you that impression", Jamie says.

"Look, Tracy called and I answered. You could've been here all day", Merlin says.

"Wouldn't be the worst idea", Jamie says.

"Look, you can wait here until one of your friends can come get you, which might be a couples hours or more with traffic, or, you can come with me right now, and I can take you too work", Merlin says. "So what is it?".

"Ugh", Jamie groan. "Fine. Just get out so I can change, please".

"You sure you don't need any help?", Merlin asks.
