The Next Morning
Jamie wakes up in Merlin's bed, with the sun shining in her face. She smiles, as she remembers the night, but that smile turns into a frown, when she once again get that pain in her stomach, which caused her to scream and Merlin to wake up, jumbled and confused. Then he sees Jamie holding her stomach in pain.

"Hey, what's going on?", Merlin asked.

"Im so sorry. I'm so sorry", Jamie repeadtly says.

"Why? Why are sorry", Merlin says, trying to get Jamie to calm down. 

"I think I'm having contractions and I think my water broke", Jamie cries. "I ruined it. I ruined a perfect night, a perfect bed".

"Hey, no. No", Merlin softly says. "I knew what I was getting into and it's normal. It's okay. I will go to the other side of the bed, and I will help you up".

"No , just call and ambulance, it hurts so bad", Jamie yells.

Merlin gets out of the bed, and walks over to Jamie side.

"Come on, let me help you up", Merlin says.

"No. No I can't. Please. It hurts", Jamie cries.

"I know, baby. But come on, we'll take it slow", Merlin says.

"Okay".

"Okay".

Merlin grabs Jamie hands, as they take it slow, Merlin was able to get Jamie to sit up on the bed. After counting to 3, Jamie was standing on her two feet.

"You good?", Merlin asks.

"Yeah. I don't feel it anymore", Jamie says.

"Okay, lets get your dress on and we'll go to the car", Merlin says.

"Yeah, okay. I'm so sorry", Jamie says.

"It's okay. I knew what I was getting myself into", Merlin says.

After a few minutes Merlin and Jamie made their way outside.

"I got to call Iris", Jamie says.

"Well, call from the car", Merlin says.

"Ahh", Jamie screams.

"Jamie", Merlin yells as he sees her holding her stomach.

As he goes towards her, she stands up a little screaming, and as she does her lighting escapes her body knocking Merlin back, hitting the ground.

"Oh", Merlin groans.

"I'm so sorry, Merlin", Jamie says, as she holds her stomach. "Im not gonna make it. The baby's coming, the baby's coming".

Fast Forward
Merlin and Jamie finally arrived to Central City Hospital. Merlin called Iris, letting her know that Jamie was in labor. So Iris and Barry left work to get Patty, who was at Jamie's home in Keystone. Jesse and Wells left S.T.A.R. Labs to head to the hospital. Even Merlin called Jamie's therapist, Kinsey Locke, Jamie's request.

This wasn't going to be a normal pregnancy, and everyone knew that. A speedster who can throw lighting bolts giving birth, there were gonna be a few troubles, which is why the hospital was ready with S.T.A.R. Labs help.

A room was created for Jamie and any other meta-humans that were given birth in the future. Outfits were given to nurses and doctors, that were gonna be present during the labor. The clothes and the room, not only keep the staff safe, but everyone else in the hospital.

Jamie didn't want to push until someone was in the room with her. Her mother, father, brother, couldn't be there with her, so she wanted the next best thing. Her best friend. The person who were there since diapers. Barry Allen. And of course, he had to wear the protective clothing.
