The New You (AOT boys x reader)

Lunch

Other than Mikasa, you hadn't known anyone in your math class after homeroom, so when the bell rang for lunch you were relieved. Mikasa had gone off somewhere to sit with Eren and Armin, leaving you to fend for yourself in the large cafeteria. You looked around for an empty table, holding your tray close to you. "Hey (y/n)!" You heard a voice call, turning your head to see Reiner waving at you from a table along with Bertholdt, Jean and two other boys whom you'd never met before. You smiled and walked over to them, setting your tray of food next to Bertholdt as you sat beside the tall boy. "Hey." You greeted softly, smiling at the five. "(y/n), this is Marco and Connie." Jean introduced, gesturing to the boy with cute freckles and the other who's head was shaved. You waved at the two as they smiled and waved back. "What's your next class (y/n)?" Reiner asked curiously. "Um, art with Mrs. Latray." You replied, searching through your memory for the mental image of your schedule. Marco smiled happily. "Hey, we're in the same class." He said happily, smiling a bit wider as you smiled back. "Great, you, me and Mikasa can all work together." You stated cheerfully as the freckled boy blushed. "You've got a cute smile." You said to Marco absentmindedly, moving some (h/c) hair from your face. Marco blushed darker, the boys glaring at him as you ate quietly before the bell rang. "I'll walk with you to art." Marco said quickly, you nodding and picking up your books as you two headed out of the cafeteria, meeting up with Mikasa in the class.
