I don't think anyone could be as nervous as me writing this. I think I've gone through at least an entire forest writing and re-writing this letter, just trying to figure out how to tell you my feelings...I guess the easiest way is to just go out and do it. I love you. You don't understand how much I've been wanting to tell you that. Ever since we met really, I haven't stopped thinking of you. Whether it's a direct thought or in the back of my mind I always know you're there. Your smile is the prettiest thing and I know it sounds weird from me, from Reiner or even Eren it would sound totally normal and flirty, but I'm just a lanky, awkward boy. But if you somehow see something in me, since I know you put a lot of thought into everything you do, I'll be outside the school waiting for you at 5:00. I hope whoever you chose makes you the happiest girl on Earth, because that's all that I want for you.

It was exactly 5 when you arrived at the school, seeing Bertholdt pacing in front of the front doors from across the street where you stood. You could tell from where you stood that he was mumbling to himself nervously. You smiled, checking for cars before running across the street, the boy yelping in surprise when you hugged him. His face went bright red, hugging you back and bending down a bit so he could reach you properly. "S-sorry, I'll come d-down." You chuckled at his choice of words as Bertholdt kneeled down, still about the same height as you on his knees, the brunet haired boy looking at you shyly before looking at his feet. "I-I'd never expect you to choose me..." You smiled and cupped his face, tilting his head up to look at you. "Well you know what they say about assuming." You chuckled as he blushed more, shyly putting his hands on your hips when your lips met. Bertholdt pulled away after a minute, hiding in your neck. "Thanks..." He mumbled, you able to feel him smile against your skin.
