Lightning Bolt

"Let's go on that ride!" You squeaked, grabbing Reiner's hand and dragging him towards a ride in almost the very back of the carnival. It had a big red sign with large blue lettering on it, showing the ride was called 'Lightning Bolt'. It was a slim, cube shaped ride that went high up into the air, at least fifty feet. There were four seats on each side of the ride, the seats being yellow and the bars that went over the riders shoulders ranging from orange and red. There was a clock with ten seconds on it on each side of the ride as well, a computerized voice booming out the numbers down until the riders shot up into the air, then coming down in jolts before going up and then all the way down again. "You're sure you want too?" Reiner asked, obviously a bit nervous. You nodded quickly, looking up at him before your expression went worried. "Reiner are you alright?" "I think I'll pass this one (y/n)." You hesitantly nodded, kissing his cheek in a friendly way. "Alright, we can go on a different ride together after okay?" You smiled reassuringly, Reiner blushing ever so slightly and nodding, ruffling your hair. "Alright, I'll wait here with Connie, he won't want to go either." "Where won't I want to go?" Connie walked up to you and Reiner, grinning crookedly. "This ride." Connie looked up at the ride, his eyes widening and shaking his head quickly. "Nope, not happening." You chuckled a bit, nodding. "Alright, we'll see you guys when we get off!" You chirped, stepping into the line with everyone else. It wasn't very long, so soon enough you were on the ride. You were sitting in the panel on the front where Connie and Reiner would be able to see you, Eren on your left, Bertholdt on your right and Armin next to Bertie. You swung your legs a bit, giggling since Bertie was able to touch the ground where he sat. Eren reached over, taking your hand and lacing your fingers, making you both blush. "You alright?" You chuckled to the hazel eyed boy, squeezing his hand a bit. He nodded, smiling at you. "Just nervous." He replied, everyone in the row jumping a bit as the big robotic voice boomed down from ten. "8...7...6...5...4" You bit your lip and squeezed Eren's hand again. "...1" You screamed along with the other boys as you shot up into the air, wind whipping past your face and hair, making it fall into your face. You looked over at Bertholdt who was smiling and laughing happily, smiling as well. You let go of Eren's hand when the ride jolted down, hanging onto the bars that went over your shoulders and then throwing your arms up when you shot upwards again. You soon got off the ride, everyone on the ride with a decent amount of hair looking like they had bed head as you attempted to flatten your own (h/c) hair. "That was awesome!" Jean laughed, wrapping his arm around your shoulders once he caught up with you. You nodded happily, your eyes bright with excitement. "But now we need to find a ride we can all go on." You stated as you walked up to Reiner and Connie. "How about the Ferris wheel?" Mikasa suggested, you nodding. "Sound good?" You questioned the two boys as they nodded. "Let's go!" Connie chirped and stood up, running off as you walked with Jean, his arm still around you and smirking as the boys glared.
