Because it was my birthday yesterday (today in some countries as here in Australia it's Mothers day) I decided to post up a new chapter.

Hope you enjoy it and vote at the end.

Five years to present day...

I stand against the door frame smiling as my best friend of all best friends, Elizabeth stands in front of the mirror in her wedding dress trying to smooth out any kinks in it. Her piercing blue eyes and tan skin with her brown hair always had the boys looking. She is definitely the polar opposite to me. She was the girly girl growing up whereas I was the tomboy. Well I was into girly things but not as much as her.

Where she would play with barbie dolls as kids, I wanted to drag her out to play with a basketball. She would go full out with her make-up at school, whereas I wouldn't wear any because I was afraid it would run down my face while I was in gym class. But all these things didn't make me love her any less, because she became sporty-like and I became a little more girly.

She wanted a simple wedding but her dad wanted to go all out seeing as she is his only daughter with three sons. She stood her ground getting the wedding she wanted and this made me smile at the lawyer in her coming always finding its' way to come out at the right moments with her father. Her hair is done up in a braided bun with little pearls in them, she wears a long flowing strapless white dress with beads wrapping around her waist. Cameron Ross, the man that is marrying my best friend is American. Captain of his squad of Special Forces. I never got into detail about it, I practically already know a bit about him. It doesn't help that Elizabeth's dad already did a background check when they first met each other a few years back.

Cameron and Elizabeth have been together for two years before deciding to do this, she was studying abroad when she met him and when she came home on her first year of studying with him was when we did that background check. Michael was very impressed with him and took an instant liking knowing he could look after his little girl no matter what.

"Is the old man coming?" She asks me as I help her put her shoes on. A small tear had fallen down my cheek at the thought of my dad.

I'm the younger of two daughters, my older sister is twenty nine with a boy and girl. The girl, the oldest at ten and the boy at eight. She had her when she was eighteen to a one night stand who now happens to be her husband. Elizabeth touches me to stand and wipes the tear from my cheek

"Yeah he is... Nothing was stopping him from seeing his best friend walk you down the aisle with tears in his eyes when he does" We both laugh knowing that my dad was only getting even with him.

The tears for my dad is because he has cancer. Terminal cancer and they reckon it's just a matter of time before he goes. I've put on weight over the last few years. At twenty one I am an international fitness model agent. My full time job is international assassin, only killing people of crimes against the world that have been committed outside of the radar and undetected by the law.
