I had been playing this off for the past couple of days. Dillon hadn't left my side right up until they left and when they left the realisation kicked in that I didn't have my friends who I needed beside me. Holding the letter in one hand and the key in the other, I flipped them around in my fingers and just staring at them

"Just read it" I had Dillon on speaker. He was about to get ready for an op and to say I was worried about him was an understatement, I was ready to connect our satellite system and track him down to watch over him like a guardian angel would. It's the least I can do, I mean he has been the friend that I need since my dad passed away.

"I will, I just... I'm worried about the contents" I say placing the key down

"Hey, I've got to go but I'll email you when I get back... Don't think too much about what's in it and just read it" He tells me. I can always hear the confidence in his words they were slowly having its effects on me

"Ok... Be safe, see yah" After I say that, I hang up and unfold the paper that I had taken out of the envelope.

You can stop worrying about your mother and I now. Your mother is going to live with your sister and help her take care of the kids while Andrew has to work and that gives you time to get back into shape and help your uncle out.

Your uncle and I were a partnership and now my half goes to you. You were always so strong, Dillon seems like a nice boy considering he is American, not that I have a problem with them I'm just trying to tease you. He seems like he will take care of you, I know you will roll your eyes at me little girl

You were always the good girl who done what she was told to do, your mother told me I took advantage of you, bringing you into this business but your mother understood the potential you have. You are a beautiful girl, just because you put on a few kilos doesn't mean you aren't, it just means more men will look at you and I saw the way Dillon was looking at you. You are scared because Dillon is something Julian definitely was not, Dillon brings out something in you that Julian wish he had that's why I told him to leave when you both had broken up. I'm sorry for interfering with that but I couldn't stand to see you struggle with being you while with him. You both grew up together and you both were never going to move forward in your lives, you both were stuck in the same thing and you need to see that.

The key I gave you is to my storage unit, you'll know what to do with it

I walk out of my office and go to Michaels down the hall which he shared with my father

"I'm off to dads' storage unit" I say as he smiles up at me

"Then you'll need me to help you, I'll get a couple of the guys to help" I frown nodding my head

Hours later, we had emptied out his storage unit using all of the stuff he had stored in our services in the basement. I had my house fitted with secret compartments for weapons so right now that is where I am right now. Finishing that up in time for Alexandra and nephew Xavier to walk through the door with my mum for dinner
