Watching him walk out that door my heart shattered once more, he wanted me because of our child but I wanted him to want me also. What was I supposed to expect from him in just a day. In just 48 hours my world came crashing down on me and I was put on bed rest for the rest of the day after he left.

"They leave tomorrow" I nod my head at Elizabeth "He's been asking me how you are" I continuously nod my head at her words of Dillon asking about me.

"If he doesn't want me that's fine, I will learn to be ok without him but picturing that is extremely hard" I say staring out my office window at the busy city below

"That's what happens when you fall in love hard and fast, the way you did" Elizabeth says bringing a smile to my face

"What am I supposed to do?" I say. I breathe deeply when I'm suddenly hit with his cologne that I love so much and I nearly break down in tears. I practically crumble to my knees with his scent that surrounds me until I feel hands wrap around my waist to hold me close

"Come home" A stray tear falls from my eyes as he spins me around to face him. I feel his hand move from around my waist to my cheek to wipe it away. He has a small smile on his face and this makes my heart beat at an erratic pace that I fear our baby and my body can't comprehend "I've thought long and hard about us and what has happened, I married you because you are strong, stubborn -"

"Hey!" I say making him chuckle

"Beautiful, smart, loving and caring... As a husband I'm supposed to accept everything about my wife whether I find out earlier on or later in our marriage and I didn't, you know as a soldier I pride myself on values and I let it get to me without seeing the bigger picture" I hadn't refused to look away fearing it would be a dream but when he places both his hands on the side of my face staring straight back into my eyes I knew it wasn't "I love you baby girl, please come home after work?" I nod my head and feel his lips press to mine. My arms move around his neck and hold him there pulling him closer.

We hear a cough and turn, I bury my face into his chest as he chuckles at my embarrassment "Anyway shouldn't it be lunchtime now?" Cameron says in the doorway with their daughter in his arms. I smile nodding my head "Let's go eat, I didn't just bring him here so I could see this"

A young employee comes barging through the other entrance huffing and puffing "Boss we got a problem"

I look to my friends with a shrug "We can order something? I'll just be in the other room" I kiss Dillon on the lips and before leaving he takes my hand stopping me

"I don't want you out of my sight love" I smile at him when he pulls my hand to his lips

"I'm just going to be in the other room, do you want to come with me?" I ask as he nods his head and follows me into the other room where all our operations were set up.

Stepping into the other room, it looked like utter chaos had hit. The staff were running around in a frenzy until Dillon whistled really loud catching their attention

"What's going on?" I ask

My number two steps up "Boss, Dillon, glad things have worked out for you both but boss our latest target has hit a small village in Lebanon"

"Syria?" Dillon says

"You say it as if you know something baby" I say looking at him confused

"We are being deployed there tomorrow on a very sensitive operation that needs to be settled between personnel, apparently random bombings have been going off and the armies on either side are blaming each other but no one has set anything off" I look back to my number two and nod my head at her "Baby what are you thinking? I know that look"
