Guide Me Towards My Future (With You)

CHAPTER 8

She was on her way to get Felix and Marinette for dinner when she saw Adrien and Lila leave his room. Looking from afar, Nathalie was fuming, her hands were clenching tightly around her tablette, disgusted and angry at the young man she had raised in the last couple of years. Her now suspicions were now confirmed and knowing what Adrien had been doing in Marinette's back, right under their noses, was infuriating.

Her thoughts were interrupted by a loud moan, coming from the other end of the hall, in the direction of Felix's room. Lila and Adrien turned as well, towards said room and the young man smirked.

"Well, it seems like my dear cousin, finally found himself someone to get laid," he said before Lila took his hand and they made their way out of the mansion. He was happy to know his cousin was enjoying the company of a lady, but he would have never thought it was his lady, his fiancée, or should we say ex-fiancée, that was with him.

Once they were gone, Nathalie approached the door, but before she could knock on the door, she heard moaning, once again, coming from the other side of the room. Getting closer she recognized the voices right away.

"Marinette! Oh God! Mari!"

"Ah Yes! Felix! Felix!"

"I love you..."

"Ah! Me too!"

Nathalie smiled, happy to know them finally together. She turned around and went down the stairs, she took a moment to get the security footage of Adrien and Lila together, getting some really inappropriate moments on tape. She sent them to her tablette and entered her boss' office, showing him the images. Gabriel only nodded, but after all her years working for him, the assistant knew he was hurt and really disappointed in his son.

"Oh and Sir, I believe Felix and Marinette won't be joining us for dinner tonight," she had to restrained herself from smiling, because she knew her statement would be confusing for Gabriel.

It was indeed and once she lifted her eyes to look at him, she was met with the raise of an eyebrow.

"How come? Are they okay? I thought he was in his room?"

"Yes, but he has some pretty enjoyable company with him right now," at this point it was impossible for her to hide a smirk, to which Gabriel responded with wide eyes, understanding that Felix was with a woman, he was a little sadden for Marinette, especially knowing Adrien was here most of the day, having sex with Lila Rossi. Nathalie rapidly smiled and added some precisions.

"Let's just say that we shouldn't interrupt him and Marinette tonight. Would you like dinner to be brought here instead of the dining room?" Gabriel smiled at his assistant's comment and nodded. Felix and Marinette had finally got together and it made him really happy for them.

During the following weeks, they pass all their free time together, but outside their work and the fashion week around the corner, they didn't have much time, only having three other passionate nights together. Their relationship didn't change much, only adding the romantic side of it and a couple more dates here and there.

One morning, she woke up sick and decided to stay home and sleep all day. After a meeting that day, Felix came to see her to make sure she was okay and seeing how bad she looked he decided to bring her to the Mansion, so she wouldn't be alone if anything happened. He prepared a small bag of her things, for a couple of days.

She stayed in bed for three days and Felix took care of her and made sure she was eating and drinking enough. After those sick days, Felix add to leave for two weeks, to help his mother in London. He was feeling better knowing Marinette was able to go back to her place and that her bobbly energy was back, so he could leave without worrying.

In the next week, Marinette woke up feeling nauseous almost every morning, but after the prior week sickness she had, she didn't think any of it. It would go away while she was taking her shower, so she placed it has the after effect of whatever virus she had.

The second week, still feeling the same and after looking her symptoms online, she decided to stop by a pharmacy on her way back home. Once at home, she took out the pregnancy tests she had just bought and went to the bathroom. Twenty minutes later, she let out a high pitch squeal and all the Kwamis rush to her side. Marinette was laughing, crying and jumping around, her behavior made the small gods really concern. Tikki approached her holder slowly and she saw it, she saw the test on the counter and she happily flew to the young woman celebrating with her.

"I'm pregnant!" the young Guardian said to the rest of the Kwamis. Knowing the importance of the creation of life and all of them being fond of children, they cheered and a small celebration erupted in the apartment.
