The next two weeks went in a flash and but the morning sickness didn't help Marinette's mood and energy. Gabriel and Nathalie started to get concern when the young woman would take naps in the afternoon, right after lunch or when she ran out of the dining room, in the middle of a conversation, coming back a couple of minutes later, like nothing happened.

It was easier to hide from Tom and Sabine, because Marinette didn't work or live with them. But when she declined her mother's offer for coffee on Sunday afternoon, Sabine knew something was up, but she decided not to talk about it. Telling herself that when her daughter will be ready, she will come and talk to her.

Finally the day after Marinette's appointment, they invited Tom and Sabine to join them for dinner at the Agreste Mansion, along with Gabriel and Nathalie. Marinette had also made sure that Gorilla would be eating with them and Felix had asked Amelie to call him at 8 pm. They were really nervous, but mostly excited to share the good news.

When everything was ready and set up, the young couple went to meet their guests, they ate, talked and laughed until they were interrupted by Felix's phone ringing. He answered and placed the devise, so his mother could see everyone around the table, after he made presentation with Marinette's parents. He took his lover's hand in his and cleared his throat, loud enough to catch everyone's attention.

"So, we didn't just invited you for dinner or to talk tonight. Actually, we have some good news that we want to share with you all," they all looked at each other hoping for an answer, but none of them seemed to know, they were all confused. Felix took a sip of wine, before continuing with his announcement, trying to get the courage to talk.

"Well, mom, how would you like to have three new people living with you at the Manor permanently, in the north wing, in a couple of months?"

"Really!? Who?" asked Amelie obviously excited.

"Marinette, myself and our child."

The reactions was instantaneous:

Tom jumping up his chair to hug them;

Amelie squealing on the phone;

Gorilla fond smile;

Nathalie wiping a small tear;

Sabine grabbing her daughter and hugging her tightly;

Gabriel completely frozen in his chair, until he left the room running, for a moment, before coming back with a sketchbook in hand. He sat next to Marinette and started planning a maternity and a baby line.

Felix looked at his girlfriend and smiled, she was glowing and all the animated gestures, she made with her arms while brainstorming with Gabriel, made her smile even brighter. Sabine sat next to him and they talked about the plans he and Marinette had, the baby, moving to London, their jobs and the future. Getting some tips and advises from the Asian woman and his future mother-in-law, helped him eased a little bit of the anxieties he had about the baby and the pregnancy. Everyone was really happy and the evening went smoothly, Felix and Marinette were happy as well, it was the start of their new life together and with the baby on the way, it could only get better.

Getting her things out of the apartment she shared with Adrien was easy, with Tom and Felix moving most of her belongings, Marinette only had to point out was to take and she made the boxes of her most precious things and designing supplies and the bags for her clothes. Keeping the Miracle Box and the grimoire in a backpack, close to herself at all times, not wanting to risk the miraculous.

She signed off her name of the lease and paid the next month, to accommodate the owner. She had felt a letter for Adrien on his bedside table, along with the engagement ring she had took off almost five months ago. Still unable to contact him, she thought his was the best way to let him know she was leaving. For the two months they had left in Paris, while Felix was traveling between the City of Love and London, almost weekly, to prepare their arrival and organized his new office, Marinette was settle in the Agreste Mansion to ease her work with Gabriel and her pregnancy.

When the time came, Tom and Sabine, along with Gabriel and Nathalie, drove Felix and a seven months pregnant Marinette to the train station. Hugging her parents was an emotional moment for the three of them, separating from them for so long was hard, especially with the baby coming. The young designer had always imagine having her family close to the bakery and even if she knew her parents were only a couple of hours away, she was terrified.

She was nervous about being a mom and not having her own mother with her to reassure her was the worst. Of course she was more than happy to know Amelie will be there, but aside from the calls they shared, the two women still had a lot to learn about one another.

Sitting by the window, hand in hand with Felix, she waved goodbye to her parents and mentors, one last time, before the train took off. She turned to her boyfriend when he gave her hand a kiss and smiled. Marinette knew she was in a good place, with the right person, her other hand resting on her baby bump, she let herself doze off on Felix' shoulder, leaving Paris for their new adventure.
