"I wish my life was a fairy tale where my prince charming comes and he gives me my true love's kiss..." Yumi muttered as Akashi changed his clothes to meet up with Ami and Mayu. Akashi pulled down his shirt and picked up his phone as he ran a hand through his hair.
"What's with the sudden statement?" He asked, sitting on his bed.
Yumi shrugged and played with her hair, twirling it in her fingers lazily. "I don't know. I just wish that I had fulfilled whatever I wanted to do before I, you know, died." She mumbled, huffing out a breath. "I probably had a lot of regrets... I don't know, maybe... ugh being dead and not knowing what happened before is so frustrating."
Akashi didn't speak since he did not know the feeling of being dead, he could only be there to listen to her.
"But life isn't like that," She said, "life isn't a fairy tale and easy going where everything is happy-go-lucky. Life is cruel, throwing things at you." Yumi sighed and rubbed her face with her hands. "But that's how we learn."
The red head nodded in agreement. "All we can do now is learn how you were in the past..."
Yumi smiled sadly at him. "You're right... Now let's go to those girls you asked out-"
"I did not ask them out."
The girl waved a nonchalant hand in response. "Just kidding. Let's go to my supposed acquaintances."
Akashi turned his locked his phone and placed it inside his pocket, heading outside where his limo waited. He instructed his driver to go to the café he had visited last Friday and leaned back into his seat, taking his phone out and called Ami who apparently knew Yumi longer.
She answered after the second ring. "Hello, Akashi-san?"
"Yes hello, good afternoon. I am on my way to the café."
"Oh, that's good. Mayu-chan and I are already here since this is where we ate lunch."
"Ah, all right. I will see the two of you in a while. Good bye."
"Bye." And then she hung up.
Yumi appeared on the screen showing a curious look. "Are you interested in the girl you were talking to, perhaps?"
Akashi shook his head in response. "I merely think of her as an acquaintance. Are you jealous?"
The cyber girl emitted a small scoff from her lips and looked sideways, a small smile forming on her lips. "You wish."
Chuckling, he replied. "I do wish you were."
"Didn't know you had a sense of humor."
I wasn't joking, Akashi thought, but he decided to keep it to himself as they had reached their destination. The driver opened the door next to Akashi who went out afterwards. He had told his driver that there would be two more passengers before entering the café.
