GLITCH 03

Do not speak to me.

Yumi's eyes stung as they blurred with tears. She has really done it now. It's been several days since Akashi said those five words to her, and then he never spoke to her again after that.

He practically turned a blind eye to her; he has been ignoring her apologies, not minding her presence (not even a good one second glance), and disregarding how she would manipulate some of his applications as if it was a natural thing.

Yumi felt like she was dead being ignored by the living; she felt like a ghost who just wanted some attention but couldn't have it because the people were only overlooking her, just ignoring her mere presence.

She was feeling lonely without Akashi to pester, and the feeling of being alone hurt her heart since the ambience of solitude was strangely familiar to her.

She has attempted speaking to him several times, but she's always being brushed off by the red-headed emperor.

It was as if they were close as strangers.

She tried explaining how Kotaro was able to see what she was reading. She said she wasn't able to exit the browser fast enough since she feared someone else besides Akashi seeing her, so in result she hid somewhere in his phone and just waited for the consequences.

And hence, him saying the five words stated above. His voice sounded so cold, so hostile, that it sent shivers down her spine due to how intimidating he was.

She wiped her eyes with her sleeve and tied her hair in two low pigtails then proceeded to Akashi's memos. This was certainly going to be hard for her.

Yumi repeatedly typed the words I'm sorry in his memos about more than hundreds of times just to show how sorry she really was. She didn't want to copy and paste the words since for her, it would seem it didn't really come from the heart. She wanted to be sincere in her apology, so she considered doing some hard work, which she did.

Although, her hard work turned to ashes when she witnessed Akashi deleting that specific memo without even reading it.

The diamond haired girl felt like breaking down. She wrote all day, no joke. She typed approximately more than fifteen thousand sentences of I'm sorry. What would you feel if your work that you spent hours and hours upon was just thrown into the garbage can, being forgotten and abandoned? You would feel like crying right? That's exactly what Yumi felt like doing, but no, she needs to get Akashi to forgive her no matter what.

So she commenced her next plan.

Yumi downloaded a photoshop-like application on her "master's' phone and proceeded to make a collage of quotes on apologies then set it as his lock screen and wallpaper.

Next, she went in Akashi's laptop and opened his Photoshop CS6 and made a simple wallpaper with the words "I'M SORRY, AKASHI SEIJURO" with a few designs here and there and then made it his wallpaper.

Once Akashi came home from his basketball practice, he was a little bit surprised at the sudden change of his phone's wallpaper. He simply sighed and pocketed his phone, thinking how Yumi was so persistent. Nevertheless, he didn't change nor delete the picture the aqua eyed girl made him.

He went on his laptop to make reports about the current school's status, and then he saw another apologetic work of Yumi. He sighed once again and proceeded to type out his work.
