"Why did you pull the plug that was keeping Yumi alive?"

"Akashi-san! What the fu-reak are you thinking?! We're here to ask them questions, not to make them hate us!" Ami shouted at the red head who simply gave her a side long glance before averting his eyes back to the Kamiwara couple.

They were shocked for a second since they were caught off guard at the question while Hikana stiffly turned to their son who was looking at them with a questioning glance. "Y-Yukine, go up to your room and stay there. This is a talk for adults." She ordered but the young boy simply shook his head.

"No, I want to hear what you have to say about Yumi-neechan." He stood his ground, his hazel brown eyes boring into his mother's hazel green ones.

"Yuki-"

"I'm sorry Okaa-san but I'm part of our family too and I deserve to know."

"Wow, for a little boy he sounds mature just like Yumi-chan when she was alive." Ami whispered loud enough for Mayu to hear, who nodded in agreement.

After a staring battle between Yukine and Hikana, the latter gave in to the former's look and sighed. "Fine." She mumbled and turned back to the four teens.

Yuzō, meanwhile, was gazing at all of them with a blank look in his eyes. Asking that out of the blue? And about their deceased daughter? "What gives you the right to know our reasons behind that subject?" He hissed, venom laced in his voice.

"Well for one, we care about your daughter." Akashi answered.

"And another, you didn't really tell us any details that concerned Yumi-chan and you didn't invite us to the funeral. We're her best friends for crying out loud." Ami added with an incredulous tone to her voice.

"People close to her deserve to know the specifics, don't you all think?" Mayu asked, raising an eyebrow.

Noriko and Yukine nodded in agreement to the statements the three teenagers have said.

It was obvious that they were not joking around this matter. Yuzō knew that Ami and Mayu are trustworthy and that they would not spread this to the press, but he was wary with both Noriko and Akashi. Noriko can tell this information to her parents and they can use this as blackmail or something of the likes of that. The Akashi Corporation, meanwhile was a very fearsome group and is at the top of Japan so if he tells them or not, either way this young Akashi can threaten him to spill out information in a blink of an eye.

Yuzō breathed out a shaky sigh. "It wasn't easy for us either." He said. "She went under a coma for a whole year. There were no positive signs of her coming back; everything stayed constant and unmoving... just like her."

Sensing that her husband was unable to proceed, she placed her hand on his shoulder and decided to speak for him. "Since the doctors sensed that she wouldn't wake up any time soon, they had recommended that we... we pull the plug." Gulping down her nervousness, she proceeded to tell them more. "Initially, we protested of course. She is one of our children and it would hurt losing her so we insisted a few more days-"

"You should have put your faith in her." Akashi mumbled under his breath loud enough for everyone in the room to hear.

"Watch your mouth, Akashi-san. My wife is kind enough to tell you the story so be grateful and listen to her." Yuzō refuted, an angry expression on his face.

Much more enraged and filled with mixed emotions, Akashi wanted to answer back that if they had time to tell the story they should have also made time supporting her, however they needed some information so he kept quiet and quickly apologized to them, telling Hikana to continue. It would have been immature of him if he refused to listen so stubbornly.
